Hey y'all! We’re Megan and John. For years, we shared our home and our hearts with our beloved pup, Brisco. While he passed away in February, our home in Fishtown remains a haven for dogs who need a little extra love, a watchful eye, and a grassy spot to play. We’ve been dog sitting on Rover for many years and truly miss the energy of a pup in the house. Because we are currently a "pet-free" household, we are the perfect fit for dogs who prefer to be the solo star of the show or those who might be a bit nervous around other resident animals. What we offer: A True Home Environment: A row home with a fully fenced-in grassy backyard. Constant Company: Usually, one (or both) of us is home throughout the work day, ensuring plenty of bathroom breaks, walks to Konrad Park, and enrichment. Specialized Care: Our years with Brisco gave us extensive experience with senior dogs, including administering daily medications and managing special diets. We are very comfortable with "special needs" pups. The Best Seat in the House: We’re happy to crate if that’s your routine, but your pup is more than welcome to lounge on our couches and "watch TV" (the neighbors walking by) through the front window. We’d love to meet you and your pup at Konrad Park to make sure we’re a great match before booking. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Bentley had a great time and I received a number of updates throughout the weekend. Their dog is pretty chill and Bentley had no issues hanging out (albeit on separate sides of the couch)!

Megan, John & Brisco were amazing with Connery! He was right at home with them, enjoying plenty of walks and snuggles. They were super attentive, accommodating & responsive while I was away for work and jury duty.

Megan, John and Brisco did a great job taking care of our dog! They sent us frequent pictures and were quick to reply to text messages. They have a backyard and there is a nice park nearby. We knew our dog was in good hands while we were away, so we did not have to worry at all. We would definitely recommend Megan for any future pet stays!

Schedule
One (or both of us usually) will be home through the work day Monday through Friday for bathroom breaks and regular walks for your pups!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard for play time, and will go on plenty of walks through fishtown or down to the nearby parks. We can crate the pup(s) if that is preferred, but they’re also fine to hang out on our couches and look out the window at folks walking by!
A typical day
We treat every guest like a member of the family, which means their "vacation" with us is filled with variety-- konrad square social, fishtown walkabouts, backyard zoomies, personalized enrichment, and of course one on one snuggle time!
