Hi there! I’m a huge animal lover with a special place in my heart for both cats and dogs. While I’m just starting my journey as a sitter, my life is practically fueled by furry cuddles! I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar environment. In a pet owner’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, litter cleaning, and any special care needs. I respect the owner’s space, keep the environment clean and calm, and pay close attention to a cat’s behaviour and wellbeing. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they are away.

Mariko did a great job taking care of my cat while I was traveling outside the UK. Communication was smooth throughout, and she made sure to feed my cat, clean the litter tray, and check on my cat's condition during every visit, which gave me peace of mind knowing everything was safe and normal. It was especially thoughtful of her to check the room temperature and open the window to keep the room cool during the heatwave. My cat is usually quite shy, but she was happy to interact with Mariko, which says a lot. Mariko also sent me lovely photos after each visit, so I was always updated on how my cat was doing. Mariko clearly knows how to care for shy cats and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend her!

Honestly, Mariko was beyond fantastic. She checked in every day with updates and photos of how our two cats were doing and made us feel so at ease that they were in safe hands. 10/10 could not recommend more.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule, as work has temporarily become quieter, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with pets. I’m also able to stay at a pet owner’s home for most or all of the day if needed, providing companionship, playtime, feeding, and regular check-ins. I’m organised, reliable, and careful about following each cat’s routine and individual needs.
