Information Maggie C. would like to know about your pet
I would prefer more gentle, easy-going dogs. Overly aggressive or hyper dogs may not be the best match. But we can meet beforehand and see.
A typical day
First and foremost I strive to establish trust and safety with your pet, so providing treats, walks, playtime, and positive reinforcement are crucial in the first hour of being together! I love to walk to any nearby parks so your pup can expend some energy if needed and then back home where they can chill, play with toys, and take naps. I will keep an eye on your pet the whole day and make sure they have potty breaks every 2-4 hours.

Pet care experience
Hello! I am an animal-loving, 33 year old artist/designer/entrepreneur working full-time from home. I’ve lived with and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up with several dogs, cats, horses, and hamsters I have experience walking, grooming, feeding, administering medication, playing fetch, dog parks, going for runs, and more! I have a fenced in backyard that’s perfect for pups! I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved Maltese yorkie, Stuart, we shared 14 wonderful years together ♥️ I live near downtown Traverse City, walking distance to several parks and beaches! I guarantee your fur-baby will feel loved, safe, and deeply cared for during their stay.
Reviews

Maggie was great with Dexter! Now that it’s warmer because he is a smushy face and all black he has issues regulating temperate. As such, I have various cooling bandanas and vests. Maggie was very good about putting them on to make sure Dexter stayed cool in the heat. Highly recommend!

Maggie was great! She communicated and sent pictures while Dexter was boarded with her for the weekend. She provided his meds as required. He enjoyed walks and sunbathing in the backyard. Highly recommend!

Maggie is one of a kind and so steady and calm for our sweet Zoey. She is wonderful and very easy going. Super attentive to the dog’s needs. I highly recommend Maggie!

Maggie was great with Dexter! He isn’t a fan of the snow (and there is currently a ton out.) So, it was nice that Maggie was able to do inside tricks with Dexter to keep him active. Highly recommend, will be booking again!
