I grew up on a farm, raising chickens and horses from the age of seven and eventually running a neighborhood pet service at 13. Since then I’ve worked for a variety of pet households to care for animals ranging from dogs and cats to sugar gliders and birds. I love to go on walks and have lots of experience with large and small dog breeds. I work from home so I have plenty of time to attend to any pet needs! I am more than happy to meet a pet-owner wherever they are comfortable. I’m willing to stay with the animals overnight for more careful supervision, or I’m happy simply to drop by to feed and walk them when needed!

I am always calm and friendly to make sure the pets I’m caring for aren’t stressed out by my presence. I love taking my own pup on walks and am happy to do the same with yours, either together with mine or separate. You know your pet better than anyone, so I really appreciate any instruction on your pet’s specific needs.

Maddie has been our dog sitter in the past and we would highly recommend her. She’s not just doing a job, but is someone who we have known to love animals and care for them from that standpoint, not simply just performing a task. She will also care for your home as if it were her own. She has our complete trust and we will definitely use her services again in the future. We highly recommend her if you’re looking for your pet to be able to stay at home in a more familiar environment rather than a kennel with much less personalized attention. We know she also has experience with larger animals as well, including horses and donkeys.
Maddie is great with animals and very responsible. She has grown up with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, guinea pigs and parakeets. She has been responsible for caring for them all. For the past several years she has cared for the animals of neighbors, friends and family. They have all been happy and impressed with her dependability and confident care of their animals including large and small dogs, horses, chickens, birds, sugar gliders and cats.

Schedule
I am currently working remotely and have a relatively flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to attend to a pet’s specific needs. I like to fit walks into my schedule to break up the work day, so it’s always nice to have a four-legged companion to come along!
