I have 15 years of hands-on pet care experience and I've been around animals my entire life. I grew up in a household with multiple high-energy dogs, so caring for pets has always felt like second nature to me. Over the years, I've also lived with roommates whose dogs were just as high-energy, and later a cat, which gave me even more day-to-day experience with different pet personalities, routines, and needs. I have also cared for cats with medical needs. I've done drop-in visits for diabetic cats, including administering insulin injections on schedule. I understand how important consistency, routine, and a calm approach are for pets managing health conditions, and I take that responsibility seriously. My partner and I adopted a cat early last year, so I'm very used to daily pet care and know firsthand how important it is to keep things consistent for a pet's comfort and well-being. Our cat Yuzu is friendly, curious, and very social — I've made sure he's comfortable around new people and pets.
