Back for bookings June-August! Nice to meet you, I’m Macky! I grew up with dogs and a cat which inspired me to volunteer at my local SPCA throughout my high school years. Feeding, bathing, and walking dogs as well as taking care of cats is a job I take very seriously and understand is important for your pet’s day to day well being. Consistency is key for me. I’ve been in the district for a 5+ years so I’m used to the humidity and comfortable staying anywhere so long as there’s WiFi and AC! I’m also a grad student working on my research this summer, which can get a bit lonely, so I’m hoping to make some new furry friends!

I aim to adapt to whatever rules are observed in your home and keep things as consistent as possible. If you need your pet fed at a specific time or have an area they are not allowed in I will respect that. Mostly I want your fur baby to feel as comfortable as possible with me!
Ratings and reviews
Macky took wonderful care of our 12 year old dog and three cats while my husband and I were away for eight days. She sent us lots of updates and pictures, asked questions when she needed to, quickly responded to questions, and was right on time for our meet and greet and the day her stay started. We hope Macky will keep taking care of our babies when we need someone!

Mackenzie was fantastic with my (senior, frequently grumpy) dog Shadow! Great communication and lots of photos while I was gone, and I returned to a happy dog and a clean house! I would definitely book again!

Schedule
I am currently able to take bookings for June-August and have a wide availability. I’d love to get out and meet some special furry friends and explore different DC parks and neighborhoods.
