Experienced dog walker & sitter! 🐾
I have spent my entire life surrounded by dogs of all ages and breeds. I grew up from the age of 3 with a black labrador who I looked after for 13 years. I have also been around many rescue dogs such as 7 ex racer greyhounds of varying temperaments and ages. I have aided in the training of puppies including the basic training of a shin tzu and the crate training and basic training of a jack russell cross. At the age of 17, I completed work experience as a dog grooming assistant, teaching me about the varying coats of breeds as well as more on behaviour of breeds and noticing conditions such as fleas, worms, tics and matting. Since coming to university I have volunteered as a dog walker and pet sitter for dogs in my area and am well accustomed to meeting all types of dogs (rescues, seniors, youths, nervous, energetic, etc).

Reggie was really happy and had a fantastic day. Lucy is lovely and instantly put Reggie at ease when they met. Really put my mind at ease that Reggie would be well looked after.
Can't speak highly enough of Lucy and her friend, they took such good care of my senior boy, took him for a lovely stroll and returned him the next day rested, happy and calm. He adores staying with them!! 💕
My Dog went to stay with Lucy on Saturday, 1st time with a dog sitter, absolutely perfect. He was nervous a little at 1st Lucy said but settled, he came back happy and content and well looked after, i would highly recommend. Thank you Lucy for looking after my boy.
Brilliant dog sitter. Looked after my nervous senior rescue who last minute had developed a UTI. I was in 2 minds about leaving him but Lucy was confident, professional and Flint adored her. She even got a loud goodbye bark 😂 Thanks so much ❤️
Lucy was great with our 6 month old Vizsla puppy Scout. She kept us updated and returned to us with a very happy chilled out pup, we definitely recommend Lucy and we’ll for sure use her for day care again :)

Schedule
I am currently a university student so will have plenty of time to look after and spend time with your pup! I am available at weekends for boarding and every weekday evening. I am also available during the day all day over summer break!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure house with a garden so no need to worry if your dog is an escape artist! When leaving the house for walks, dogs will remain secured on lead to keep them safe (unless owners specify their dog has mastered recall and are confident with others taking their dogs off leash for walks).
A typical day
As a young sitter, I will stimulate your dogs physically and mentally to provide them with all the nourishment they need! As an experienced dog walker, I am well versed with the best parks and walking routes in the area so they get to explore and exercise to their heart’s content. If any owners would like additional help with training a younger pup I am also happy to teach them new commands or useful tricks too! If your dog just wants some comfort and down time, there will also be plenty opportunities for cuddles and naps too.
Prices include all fees.
