Reliable & Caring Dog Sitter
I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember. With a genuine love of spending time and caring for them, I grew up around my Aunt who would always have two dogs by her side. Usually a German Shepherd and a Labrador, so I am very comfortable with larger breeds and learned how important, exercise, attention and consistency is for a happy dog. I myself am a very energetic person, I enjoy people, animals and company, this is one of the many reasons I wanted to sign up to Rover. For the past two years I've been regularly looking after my friends poodle, Luna, who you may see in some of my photos. Unfortunately, my friend moved back to London a few months ago and I have found myself missing having the occasional furry friend. Caring for Luna including walking, feeding, playing with her, generally just making sure she was happy while her owner was away (As well as keeping her away from any open bins). Whether it's an energetic walk, playtime or simply keeping a dog company while their owner is out, I'm happy to adapt to their routine and needs :) I am comfortable with both small and large breeds. The largest size I'm able to walk is around Labrador or German Shepherd size and the dogs would need to be reasonably lead trained. I have a spinal condition, so very large dogs that strongly pull on the lead wouldn't be suitable for me to handle safely.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, their safety and comfort always comes first. I will always make sure to follow any instructions left by the owner so that the pet can keep to their normal routine as much as possible. Especially if they are young. In the owners home I will ensure that their is fresh water available and they are fed according to their schedule and receive plenty of attention, playtime and exercise (where appropriate). As well as making sure that I am careful when entering and/or leaving a home, so that pets won't slip out. I am also more than happy to provide updates via photos and/or videos to the owners throughout my stay for reassurance that their pet is happy and well looked after.

Lizzie was absolutely fantastic during her stay with Blaze. Blaze, being a GSD, husky, akita is quite some character with a few complications, Lizze had come to meet him in advance and he settled with her so quickly and she had no problems at all with him. In fact, he was such a happy dog when we got back and even then got sad after they left!! Our house was also left spotless when we returned so was clear Lizzie had taken a great deal of care and respect while in our. Thanks again Lizzie. You have made our first experience using Rover an absolute pleasure and we will be booking you again in the future.
Lizzie was fantastic with our Flo. She accepted our booking at the last minute after our original sitter had to cancel, which was a huge relief as we were away on our honeymoon. Flo can be quite anxious, so it was important to us to find someone calm, patient, and caring. Lizzie was exactly that. She arranged a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure Flo was comfortable with her, which gave us great peace of mind. Throughout our trip, Lizzie kept us updated with regular photos and messages, so we always knew Flo was happy and well looked after. From the pictures, it looked like Flo had made a friend for life! We wouldn't hesitate to book Lizzie again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and thoughtful dog sitter.
Lizzie is absolute brilliant with dogs of all sizes! She has the patience to play with a jumpy puppy and also do long walks with large dogs, both off- and on-lead. On her very first walk with our dogs, she put her life on the line to protect my dogs from a dog attack - had it not been for her, we would’ve lost our babies. I would surely recommend Lizzie.
Lizzie is an amazing dog walker and individual. On one of her first walks, there was an unfortunate incident where she could have gotten seriously hurt. But she put the dogs safety first, even at the expense of her own safety. I would surely recommend Lizzie for your pets.
Lizzie was absolutely fantastic while looking after my dog. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how calm, attentive, and genuinely caring she is. She took the time to understand my dog’s routine, quirks, and favourite things, and kept me updated with messages and photos throughout - such a thoughtful touch that really put my mind at ease. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog who had clearly been well looked after. It’s rare to find someone you can trust so completely with your pet, and Lizzie is one of those people. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, loving care for their dog. She’s brilliant.

Schedule
I have a part time job in the afternoon as a nanny. This is from 3-7pm on week days, I would be happy to look after any pet around this schedule if everyone is comfortable of course!
