I have taken care of other peoples pets for a little over 5 years now along with my own two, one cat and one dog, shown in my profile photo and have now decided to join Rover. So if you’re reading this and need help with: walking, regular check ins, feeding, sitting, all depending on your pets requirements this can be discussed and provided. I am also experienced with boarding at my house before and have also been trusted to stay at other people's homes while they've been away to look after their pets. So whether you're looking for a home from home stay for your dog or someone to visit your home to spend time with your pets or something as easy as making sure they get their required toilet break, I am sure I can help you. If you need any further information please don't hesitate to contact me and we can discuss details. I will always recommend a meet and greet beforehand, so we can make sure everybody is comfortable, we as owners and our beloved pets. However if that's not possible for example: being short notice or same day booking, then I'll be happy to discuss your needs in detail via a phone call. A little about me, I have my own insurance and I am DBS checked with a basic clean certificate to hand.

Leigh was great. We arranged a meet and greet, which went well and put us more at ease. Cooper is a strong boy and likes to play. Communication was excellent and always prompt and his timekeeping was spot on. We don't often need help looking after Cooper but if we do we will definitely be checking Leigh's availability first.
As we've come to expect from Leigh he was fantastic! He obviously cares very much about ensuring that all of Casper's needs are met & has gone above and beyond over the past few days. We feel very lucky to have found him and would have no hesitation whatsoever in asking him to look after Casper again - or in recommending him to other folk folk who need a caring, friendly gent to look after their furry companions ❤️. Leigh looked after our 3 year old cavapoo for 5 nights without any issues at all. We received daily updates of how she was getting on in the form of photos. She had plenty of walks and cuddles. Would highly recommend Leigh for your boarding needs. Will definitely be returning once our next trip away is booked. Thanks Leigh
Leigh was fantastic with our puppy when he looked after him for the day. He even come to collect him and dropped him back off 😊
What a find! We were really struggling to find a walker for Casper and then the lovely Leigh stepped up and saved the day! Friendly and obviously keen to know what was right for Casper and what his needs were (and Lynda's needs too - Casper's owner) he was, by all accounts, fab! Thank you so much, Leigh & I'm sorry about your struggle with the doors/key safe (not at all your fault btw!) - hopefully next time that will go more smoothly for you!! I'm sure there will be a next time (if you're willing of course!) as we definitely really rate you highly! Would recommend with no doubts x
Leigh and his Mum Anna, are absolute animal lovers. They pay great attention to their pets and treated my dog as one of their family. Allowing her onto their sofas and beds and giving her endless cuddles . When I picked her up it was hard to persuade her to leave. That says it all for me! She ckearlyloved her time in Leigh’s care. Very trustworthy and a man of his word. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave her with him again.

24 Hour BOARDING / DAYCARE - There are two people in my home, a smoke free home, both adults, myself and a retiree, so there will always be someone to provide the care and attention for your dog 24 hours. Being an owner of 1 cat and 1 dog, if your dog is good with other dogs, but you are unsure with cats, then this is where a meet and greet is ideal and beneficial to see if everyone gets along. Please have your dog up to date with flea treatment and inform me of any medical conditions I need to be aware of, an example being seizures. Your dog will get free roam of the house and garden. They are not in any type of kennel structure. We will treat your pet as part of the family therefore they are welcome to use all the rooms and furniture around the house, but if they are trained to be in a crate this is no problem, please bring it and any bed they are accustomed to. My garden is fully fenced with high panels and cameras installed for extra security. I live a minute walk from 3 large fields, also surrounded by huge acres of land. So your dog would get all the exercise they require. Not to mention living less than a mile drive from Stafford Castle. I provide my own client registration / consent forms that are either given physically or sent digitally for you to fill in on or before the agreed date of boarding which I can then refer to and see information about your pet. Dog Walking - If it is just walking you require then I offer 30 minutes to an hour. I prefer to walk 1-2-1 so your dog gets all the attention they deserve. 2 would be maximum at a time. Pet Sitting - I have been trusted before to visit cats and dogs to feed, let out, or stay the night. Whether you need an hourly visit or longer feel free to get in touch and discuss further.

A typical day
I live near 3 huge fields, woods, acres of lands and Stafford Castle so there will be plenty of time for walks right on my doorstep. A House with a garden for them to roam around. If it's a colder day, a nice warm fire to sit beside. Toys, balls and more to keep your dog entertained.
