I work full time remotely, with a fairly flexible schedule that allows for easily getting up and checking on animals, or allowing animals to remain in the same space as me as I work.

Safety, trust & environment
I check in regularly with texts or photos, whatever is preferred. I have experience with anxious dogs, crate-trained dogs, and both indoor and outdoor cats. My cat at home is only allowed outside while supervised, we have coyotes so he is monitored while exploring.
Information Laurel C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any special considerations for your pets, if they have specific anxieties or issues that should be worked around. Medications and vet info (both regular and emergency vet, if applicable) are important to have ahead of time, as well as emergency local contacts if trouble arises. I like to be over prepared, and too much info is always better than not enough. Specifically for house sitting, please let me know if there are any foods/items that you don’t want brought into the house- YOUR allergies, gluten intolerances, unwanted scents, etc. Important info to know about me: I need a strong consistent WiFi for my stay so I can work remotely. I do still try to have a social life and get out of the house, but I will always discuss my plans in a meet and greet beforehand to make sure they fit with your needs.
A typical day
I like to walk dogs at when it is not too hot outside, so either morning or evening right now in the summer. We can play with whatever their favorite toys are, and tricks for treats is a good way to enforce any existing training.

Pet care experience
I work remotely so I am able to provide consistent care and attention for your pets. I grew up with a variety of animals that were partially or fully my responsibility, including fish, cats, and dogs. I have experience with long-term and short term house sitting, and I can provide consistent, reliable pet care for your peace of mind.

Reviews
Laurel did a great job, and it was a long haul - 14 days. Our dogs are elderly, spoiled and like their routine, and Laurel did a great job of keeping them happy and caring for our house. A real bonus was that Laurel works remotely at her "real job", so she was able to spend lots of time with our two, which is what they are used to.

Laurel was very accommodating and responsive to all of our guidance for caring for Billie. The house was in great shape when we got home and Billie was happy and healthy!
