Charlie clearly enjoyed his time with Kristine as he came home happy and relaxed. She was easy to communicate with, sent regular updates and photos, and was flexible around my unconfirmed pick up time due to ferry issues. I highly recommend Kristine if you live in the Cowichan Valley!
Kristine was so accommodating… on a last minute booking. She welcomed Ruby with lots of love and enthusiasm. She sent us photos and updates which we we loved. Ruby was well cared for.
Kristine took wonderful care of Pandora for the week we were out of town - lots of walks and naps in the fenced yard. Thanks, Kristine!
This is the second time our dog, Abbey, stayed with Kristine and this visit solidified our complete trust in her care. We received regular photos and updates from Kristine and Abbey got plenty of attention, exercise and even claimed her own chair! Kristine and Abbey clearly developed a great bond and Abbey displayed no signs upon returning home that she had experienced anything but a wonderful time while we were away!
Kristine arrived on time and was instantly welcoming to Piper. The regular updates were reassuring and made it easy to know she was comfortable and well cared for.
We loved having Kristine help us! We were in a last-minute pinch with work schedules and care for our very young puppy and Kristine jumped in and helped us right away. She got back to us immediately, which instantly put our minds at ease, and we felt even better after having met her in person. Kristine is a very kind hearted person and extremely professional, timely, and very friendly over all. It’s scary to let someone into your house while you’re not home! And even scarier to trust them with your pet’s safety. Kristine and her constant updates and photos absolutely gave us peace of mind that everything went splendidly and we are very happy to have her help us again. Peace of mind is priceless!

Schedule
I am now retired. Looking for reasons to go for a walk. Would love to look after a dog to keep me company and give me some company during the day.

I have a fenced yard. Have always kept my dog on a leash when walking. Dog hair in the house isn’t an issue. Lots of attention given
A typical day
Definitely a good long walk or hike. I live near a big fenced field so I can go there for a game of fetch anytime of the day!
