Safety, trust & environment
When I care for pets, I make it a priority to follow their normal routines and respect the comfort of their home environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s preferences, feeding times, favorite spots, play styles, and boundaries, so they feel secure and understood. I keep things tidy, maintain your home’s cleanliness, and treat your space with the same care I give my own. My goal is to make your pet’s day feel as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away.
Information Kelley K. would like to know about your pet
Before any visit or stay, it’s helpful for me to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, and any quirks or sensitivities they may have. Details about their comfort zones, like preferred hiding spots or walking routes, help me make them feel at ease. I also appreciate knowing about any medical needs, medications, allergies, or behavioral notes such as anxiety triggers or social preferences. The more I know about your pet’s habits and personality, the better I can provide care that feels familiar, consistent, and stress-free for them.
A typical day
I love keeping pets mentally and physically stimulated in ways that match their personalities. For cats, that might mean interactive play with feather wands or laser pointers, cozy cuddle sessions, or simply quiet companionship for more independent kitties. For dogs, I enjoy walks, backyard playtime, or practicing simple training cues to keep their minds sharp. I pay close attention to each pet’s mood and energy level, whether they’re feeling playful or prefer gentle affection, so every visit feels fun, safe, and tailored just for them.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Kelley, a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet caretaker ready to treat your furry family like my own. I split my years between Boston, MA (May-Nov) and Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Nov-May.) At home, I’m lucky enough to share life with two amazing dogs, a playful Cavachon and a high-energy Australian Shepherd, plus two sweet rescue cats who rule the roost. Between this crew and years of helping friends, neighbors, and clients with their pets, I’ve gained hands-on experience with just about every personality type and stage of life, from rambunctious puppies and curious kittens to senior pets who need a little extra TLC. I’m comfortable with basic training, helping anxious pets feel calm and safe, and administering medications when needed. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a detailed care routine, I make sure every animal feels loved, secure, and understood while their people are away. You can count on me for reliable communication, a professional approach, and lots of heart. I know how important it is to have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for, and that’s exactly what I provide. I have a flexible job that allows me all of the time in the world to care for your pets. Looking forward to meeting you (and your furry family)! 🐾

Kelley did a drop in visit with Ruby and was excellent. On time and great energy. Ruby was exhausted afterwards!!! Will definitely use again when needed and certainly recommend!!!
I highly recommend Kelley to watch your dogs while you're away. Speaking from experience, I know Kelley will treat your dogs as if they are her own.
