I am familiar with the Rover app as me and my mom would board dogs for a few years prior to getting our own. I have lived with 4 different dog breeds, from big to small, and enjoy spending time with them and taking them on long walks and hikes.

Information Kayla D. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs ahead of time. It’s especially helpful to know about feeding, walks, medications, allergies, crate routine, leash manners, reactivity, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. The more I know, the better I can care for your pet.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs happy, engaged, and feeling comfortable while their owners are away. Depending on each dog’s personality and energy level, I would do fun activities like walks, playtime, fetch, tug, light training reinforcement, enrichment games, and lots of attention and cuddles. I also love getting dogs outside for fresh air and making sure they get both physical activity and companionship. My goal is always to make their time with me feel fun, safe, and positive.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart from other sitters is the amount of hands-on pet care experience I’ve had in different settings. I have experience with international pet care, helped with Rover bookings for years through my mom’s account, have had three dogs of my own, and currently also live with my roommate’s puppy. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes, energy levels, and routines. I’m incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely love being around all animals. I know how important it is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away, and I always take that responsibility seriously. I’m attentive to details, patient, and happy to follow any instructions closely, whether that means sticking to a specific walking schedule, feeding routine, playtime, crate routine, or giving a dog a little extra reassurance in a new environment. My experience has helped me become very adaptable and confident with a variety of breeds and temperaments, and I always aim to provide care that is loving, dependable, and tailored to each dog’s needs.
Reviews

Kayla was amazing! Played with my dog until my dog got tired! My dog absolutely adores her as well!
Kayla pet sitter my dog and my cat for over 2 weeks. When we got home our pets were happier and the house was cleaner than we left. Kayla ensured our dog had frequent walks and ball fetching time. In addition, she ensured all of the dog hair had been cleaned up even though that was likely a daily task. I would recommend Kayla to anyone who wants to ensure this dog receives a lot of love 💕
