Dog Mom first, Doctor second!
My family and I have had dogs my entire life! I have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever, named Mason, and a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, named Todd. I love being their Mom! I am also a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, working with children and adolescents, at a private outpatient practice. I wanted to spend more time with animals, do something active, and spend time outside. I enjoy taking dogs on walks/runs and to the dog park. I have cared for many different Rover clients' and friends' dogs while they have been away on vacation for 1-2 weeks, and I have also cared for dogs post surgery. I like to provide text and picture updates while you are away from your pet. I am also a Licensed Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania, so I have many years of experience shaping positive behaviors. I also use Rover and know how important it is to feel like your pet is with a caring, attentive, and loving sitter! I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Would give 10 ⭐'s if I could! This is the first time we left our Buddy (4 year old black lab) for an extended trip, so we were extremely nervous. Katie and her husband were great! They communicated often, and when I reached out to them, they never made me feel like I was a bother. All of our requests were respected, and they sent pics and videos through the stay .Buddy got plenty of attention, lots of fetch, and loved having their friendly dogs Todd and Mason to play with . I highly recommend- they know what they are doing, and I will not hesitate to request them again!
Katie came to feed my two cats. One has diabetes so it was very important to me he got his dinner and insulin. He also has heart disease so needs a pill and powder in his food. When Katie came and met me she wrote down all the crazy measurements I have for both cats feedings, that they need to be separated etc. Katie is very kind and my boys knew that and I knew they were in good hands. I got picture updates and a text that everything went great so I could enjoy the show in NY!
Another great stay for Bailey with Katie! We knew he was in good hands with all the updates and photos Katie provided. He had a great time playing on her large yard and playing with her dogs. Thanks for another great stay!

This is our second year leaving our pup with Katie while on our summer vacation. It’s so nice to know our sweet girl is happy, well taken care of, and having fun. Definitely recommend!
Katie took great care of Bailey while we were away for a week. She had two wonderful goldens that got along well with Bailey and she gave him lots of playtime in her huge fenced in yard (and even water play!) during his week with her. Picture updates were great and my kids especially loved the updates! Thanks so much for a great stay! Would definitely use Katie again!

I currently work from home the majority of the week, and my husband works from home every day, so your pet will never be alone!

I have two male Golden Retrievers to keep your fur babies company. I can also crate your dog, if needed. I have a crate that can be used, if you don't feel like transporting yours!

A typical day
I will walk your dog wherever you prefer. I also have a fenced in backyard for dogs to run around in! I would also be open to taking them to a dog park, if the owner approves.
