Availability

Right now, my daily availability is incredibly flexible. I am currently taking some time between career moves, which means my week is wide open to prioritize your pet's needs. Whether you need a bright and early morning walk, mid-day drop-ins while you are at the office, or evening care, I can easily build my day around your dog's established routine. My own dog, Ares, has his set schedule, leaving the vast majority of my day completely open to step in exactly when you need me.

Safety, trust & environment

When I am in your home for a drop-in or picking up your dog for a walk, safety and respect for your space are my absolute top priorities. I treat your home with the exact same care I treat my own, ensuring doors, gates, and locks are fully secured before and after every single visit. Out on the trails or sidewalks, I am hyper-vigilant about our surroundings, steering clear of hazardous brush, hot pavement, or unpredictable off-leash dogs. I stick strictly to your instructions and always leave things exactly as I found them.

Information Judith K. would like to know about your pet

To ensure a perfectly seamless visit, please share any specific quirks, triggers, or strict routines your dog has. Are they reactive on a leash, skittish around loud noises, or protective of certain toys? I am completely comfortable administering medications, maintaining strict feeding hygiene, and handling strong-pulling or reactive dogs, but having that information upfront is key. Please also let me know where their cleaning supplies are kept and what their firm boundaries are so we are set up for success.

A typical day

A typical visit starts with a solid greeting and a quick health check to make sure your dog is feeling good. Hygiene is a big priority for me, so I always make sure food and water bowls are washed and topped off to prevent any bacteria. After ensuring your home is securely locked, we head out for a walk so they can relieve themselves. If we visit a park and there is a safe, empty space, we'll get some energy out by playing fetch with a tennis ball or frisbee. Once we are back, we do a proper cool-down. I make sure they have fresh water, administer any scheduled meals or pills, and set up their space exactly how they like it before I leave—whether that means opening a specific window blind so they can look outside or making sure they have clear access to their dog door.

Your Pet's Favorite Routine!

Pet care experience

Honestly? Dogs are just my people. I have a 3-year-old Golden named Ares, and I'm also hands-on with a family pack of five Goldens, so between the zoomies, the senior slow walks, and everything in between, I've pretty much seen it all. Big dogs, reactive dogs, medication schedules, strict feeding routines, none of that phases me. What I care most about is that you actually feel good leaving. Not just okay with it, genuinely at ease. So I follow your routine to the letter, send real photo updates (not just the posed ones), and I'm always on time. Always. We're lucky to be close to some great spots, the coastal trails in Newport, the paths near Crystal Cove, Heritage Dog Park, and I know how to navigate them safely. I keep a close eye on the environment, especially brush and ticks, because your dog doesn't know what they're getting into but I do. Whether your dog needs a long run or just a calm, quiet visit with someone who actually gets them, I've got it covered.

Judith made Cheetoh very comfortable. She sent me updates and pictures to let me know about his day. I highly recommend, especially for extended trips!

Judith is amazing and caring animal lover. She has the deepest passion for caring for all animas. On numerous occasions, she has taken care of my beloved golden retrievers. They love spending time with her. Judith not only provides basic essential needs like feeding them and providing a home, she also advocates for them in person, online, and any other way she can. Judith is genuine with her care and love for animals. I can assure that anyone would left comfortable, is they leave their pet in the care of Judith.

I am a registered veterinary technician; therefore, my standards for pet care are incredibly high. Judy is one of the few people I know and will trust implicitly. I have seen her dog-sit firsthand, and her attention to detail, safety, and hygiene is unparalleled. She perfectly balances deep affection with strict routines our loved ones need to thrive. She does not just love animals; she truly understands how to advocate for their well-being. As a fellow pet parent, she understands the deep love, devotion, and bond we share with our companions. Any pet parent would be incredibly fortunate to have Judy care for their beloved companion.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Judy as a sitter for my dog, Chloe. From the moment they met, it was obvious that Judy has a genuine love for dogs. Chloe absolutely adores her—they play together, cuddle, and Chloe is always so excited to see her. As a dog owner, there's nothing more reassuring than seeing your pet so happy and comfortable with someone else. Judy treats Chloe like she's one of her own, and it truly shows. She is attentive, patient, loving, and always makes sure Chloe gets plenty of affection and care. Knowing Chloe is with Judy gives me complete peace of mind because I know she's not just being watched—she's being loved. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family and care for them as if they were her own, I wholeheartedly recommend Judy. Your furry family member couldn't be in better hands.
