I work from home every Tuesday and Wednesday and also have a lot of holidays to use, as I have been working at the Spanish Embassy for the past 18 years!

Sicherheit, Vertrauen & Umgebung
I am very much a dog person. I dedicate lots of time to playing with them and giving them the love, attention and affection they need, but I am also quite strict and make sure I follow the owner's requests (e.g. whether or not they are allowed on the bed and sticking to set meal/treat times). I make the dogs aware of their boundaries and they quickly learn to respect me.

Informationen, die Juan Carlos A. gerne über dein Haustier wissen möchte
It is important to know if the dogs have any illnesses, allergies or need any treatment. It is also key to know their routine (feeding, walks, sleep, medication, etc.) and any other specific instructions. I always like to ask how well the dog has been socialised and whether they play well with bigger or smaller dogs, which can vary depending on if they are a rescue. Finally, it is always important to have their vet's details in case of emergency.
Ein typischer Tag
I vary my walks every day to ensure the dogs do not get bored by going to the same parks, and combine long walks with runs along the canal. Also, I love seeing them run and teaching them tricks at Mile End Dog Agility Park. At home, I have agility obstacles and lots of brain games for mental stimulation.

Basque dog lover and beautiful Cavapoochon ;-)
Erfahrung in der Haustierbetreuung
I was born in the Basque Country (the north of Spain) and grew up on a farm, surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, cows and many other wonderful animals until I moved to London 20 years ago. When I arrived in London I signed up for voluntary work with greyhounds (Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare), rabbits (Greenwich Rabbit Rescue) and cats (Animal Rescue and Care) until my partner and I got our own dog, Luna! I also volunteer with The Cinnamon Trust. I regularly dog-sit for friends and neighbours and they have been very happy with the care I provide. I really enjoy it, too!
