**My holiday rate for dogs is $80/night. Rover doesn’t let me put a separate holiday rate for cats vs dogs, and I mostly am only accepting cat stays** I recently moved to the Spokane area. I am 41 years old, friendly, responsible and caring. I have owned a dog and a couple of cats over the years, along with various other pets. I have house sat and cared for pets for family members, friends and acquaintances. I have done pet sitting through Rover for the last 5 years, and have had people refer me to their friends & family. I had a few families I cat sat for on a regular basis before I moved. I am a big cat lover and am always happy to take care of new kitties if I am available!

I know not at all pets are the same. So I make sure to do what is needed to make sure they are happy, comfortable and feel safe. I’ve taken care of cats that are more skittish/nervous, and it’s always exciting once they finally warm up to me after a few days and will come sit with me :)

Jocelyn is truly wonderful in every way. She recently stayed with my cat, Squeaky Pete, for four days, and from our very first meet‑and‑greet I felt completely at ease. Throughout her stay she was communicative, thoughtful, and sent the sweetest updates and photos of Petey — I didn’t feel a single moment of anxiety while I was away. When I came home, everything was spotless and perfectly in place… honestly, even cleaner than when I left. And the best part? Petey has actually been looking around for her, which says everything about how much he enjoyed their time together and the care she gave him. He requires an inhaler twice a day, and Jocelyn handled it safely, gently, and with total confidence. Knowing he was in such capable hands gave me so much peace of mind. I recommend Jocelyn wholeheartedly. Both Petey and I look forward to working with her again and again — she’s truly a gem.

Jocelyn did such a great job with our cat! He was a challenging client and she did all the right techniques to make him comfortable and healthy. Plus, she did lots of housesitting chores as well, like watering plants/lawn, mail pickup, etc. She is a very caring and meticulous person, we came back to a pristine house-could barely tell anyone was here. We have already rebooked her for another cat sitting job. Highly recommend!
Jocelyn did another great job caring for Ari. She was also very accommodating, given that this was a last-minute booking due to the death of a parent. We were able to arrange house-sitting for Ari while she was also able to attend an event she had previously set up. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am mostly only taking cat sitting jobs, but am open to dogs if they are well trained and low energy. I am open to most anywhere in the greater Spokane area.
