James was wonderful with Brio. Our much loved dog gets anxious and grumpy when we leave him in someone else's care, so we were delighted to see videos of Brio playing in the yard early in our trip. James was just the reassuring presence Brio needed! We were truly appreciative of his care, and look forward to having him back.

We knew instantly upon meet & greet that James would be the person we entrusted for our first time sitting experience with our new rescue. Our dog was well cared for the entire 8 days we were gone- he followed every direction we gave and also gave our pup extra loving. It was also such a great experience to come home to a clean home. He was respectful of our space and home and I honestly wouldn't hesitate to both use home again and recommend him to others who find it hard to trust sitters. We had a very bad experience with our last dog sitter (our previous 15 year old dog) and James has entirely shifted our view of dog sitters. We are thankful to have met him!

James played with our dog a lot. She’s a picky eater sometimes and he made an extra effort to entice her to eat. He managed the house perfectly, even stripped the bed for me when he left.

James is absolutely amazing! This is the 2nd time he’s stayed with Ollie and they both enjoy each others company so much! James sends pictures every day, which is so sweet and considerate. But most of all, Ollie trusts and loves him.

James is amazing—he must be a true dog whisperer! Our dog Ollie struggles with major anxiety, leash reactivity, and general stranger danger. It usually takes him quite a while to warm up to new people, but with James it was instant friendship. James was incredibly patient and understanding with Ollie, and he went above and beyond in his care. He followed all of our instructions perfectly and then some—sending us daily pictures, documenting walks, feedings, and medications. It gave us so much peace of mind to know Ollie was in such good hands. I highly recommend James to anyone looking for a dog sitter, especially if your pup needs a little extra attention or special care. We will absolutely have James stay with Ollie again. Honestly, Ollie was sad to see him go!
