I’ve taken care of all dogs. Including Beagles, Staffordshires, Vislas, Akitas and everything in between I am experienced in training and nurturing all types of dogs and all age groups, different approaches depending on breed, character, and attitude. Overall a confident dog handler. I can administer medication if required but please do specify, as this will carry a separate charge. Generally your dog can expect full time care - 3 / 1hr walks per day, with games and training depending on the ask.

Louis had a wonderful stay and was so well looked after. Despite the very hot weather, it was clear he was happy, comfortable and in great hands. We really appreciated the regular photos and videos throughout his stay – they were so reassuring and lovely to receive. He also absolutely loved spending time with their dog, who was great company for him and made his stay even more enjoyable. It was obvious Louis felt relaxed and at home, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of him!
James was fantastic with our dog, Cassie. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. James didn’t open his house door and this is very disappointing, especially considering the fact that he was texting me two days before. I have had big financial losses because of his negligence.
I have known James a number of years to know he is a responsible pet owner. He has both owned and taken care of different dog breeds and made sure that they are all catered to. He currently has an American Akita who unfortunately due to medical reasons had to have his eyes removed - James has been so incredibly in catering to his needs that he still runs around as though he has sight. He is trusted by many friends and family when they are on holiday to look after their dogs and I have no doubt that the same can and will be done with your pets!

Schedule
I work from home, so your dog will have constant company and attention throughout the day. I spend most of my time caring for and working with animals, and I take a hands-on, attentive approach to both care and training. I have experience with a wide range of temperaments, including more challenging or anxious dogs. Whether your dog is high-energy and needs plenty of stimulation, or prefers a calmer environment with comfort and reassurance, I tailor my approach to suit them.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs in my care are kept well exercised, mentally stimulated, and fully engaged — I find that when their needs are met, everything else naturally falls into place. I have a secure, gated garden with plenty of space and grass for safe outdoor time, and because I’m home-based, your dog will never be left alone. They’ll also have the company of Hiro — my gentle, sweet-natured (and blind) dog, who is incredibly kind and friendly with others. I don’t have children, so the environment is calm and controlled.

A typical day
I regularly take dogs out for walks in nearby forests and parks, giving them the chance to explore new smells and surroundings. I also have a large 4x4, so they can travel safely and comfortably. Playtime is a big part of the day too, both in the garden and on walks — feel free to bring along any favourite toys.
