Please let me know how your dog is with other people or other dogs/animals. Its important to know if I am looking after a reactive/anxious doggy as it means I can ensure I wont put them in situations that they might find stressful
A typical day
I will take them for a walk, I can be very playful with them if thats what they enjoy. Alternatively I am happy to cater to any of their needs. I would also encourage enrichment activities to increase stimulation and ensure they have had a good day!

Pet care experience
We live in a spacious house in Nettleham, We are both Mental Health Practitioners working in the NHS, I work shift work and my partner works 9-5. Doing shift work means I am often free during typical working hour times which means I am able to help look after your pets when you are at work. I have had experience looking after several cats and dogs that family friends have trusted me with. I also have had extensive experience in caring and looking after dogs for a dog walking/care business in Brighton, aswell as working in a puppy nursery part time a couple of years ago.

James is one of the most kind, caring, thoughtful and selfless people I know. There isn’t any reason why he wouldn’t treat anyone’s dog like this either. If anything it would be tenfold! When we were at uni together we looked after a St Bernard called Lenny, and he was a great partner to have in helping take care of such a large dog! He was patient and very loving, which is all a dog needs in my eyes.
James has offered freelance support with me at Follow My Leads for dog care over a 2 year period. This included dog walking, drop-ins, and house stays. James has been attentive and engaged in learning about dog behaviour and the importance of positive training methods, and as such has developed strong bonds and love with all of his doggy clients. He has a natural way with animals (and humans too!) and it becomes immediately clear as soon as he meets a new pet friend. He loves each dog as his own, and it adaptable to their individual needs and personality. I could not recommend him enough.
