Fenced Yard and Lots of Puppy Fun!
Hey there! I'm Hope. I grew up taking care of a herd of 4H show bunnies and pet sitting the various animals around my neighborhood, but dogs are by far my favorite! I worked at a dog kennel for 3 years as a caretaker and eventually manager. I petsat with Rover full time for about 6 months but am now transitioning to a full time job and will only be accepting new dog boarding reservations. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and currently studying psychology at UC. We live in Madisonville with our playful puppies and grumpy senior bunny. Someone is home at all times, our yard in fully fenced in, as well as we have tons of toys, chewies, and puppy shenanigans to keep your dog entertained! We’re available weekends and holidays. I'd be happy to take care of any other pets you have (cats, birds, rodents, fish, etc.) at no additional charge. I have a lot of experience handling and caring for small & exotic animals, as well as certain farm animals. I have experience with special needs dogs, giving very specific care and/or administering medications(oral, topical, insulin). Thank you for your consideration!

As always, Hope was an amazing sitter for our dog, Chester. This is the third time we've asked Hope to stay at our house with Ches. We trust her completely and Chester loves her. She is communicative, polite, courteous, and tidy. Highly recommend!
This was the second time my husband and I hired Hope to stay in our house and watch our dog. She is amazing. She worked around our schedules to accommodate when we needed her to arrive and left the house in stunning condition. She sent daily picture updates of our dog, who absolutely loves her. We know we don't need to worry when we leave our dog (and house) in Hope's care.
I would not recommend Hope for dog sitting. We hired her to care for our dog for a week last summer and we were shocked with what we saw when we returned home. There was no evidence that she stayed in our house ( no towels used, no toilet paper used etc), there were multiple pieces of furniture destroyed, shutters on windows were gauged from clawing, and bedding was torn to shreds. She offered no explanation except "he needed a lot of attention". Our dog was not before, or has been since, that destructive ...which leads us to believe that he was left for very long periods of time unattended. We are sad that we left our pup in her hands and he was neglected.
We were very happy with Hope's stay at our house. She took great care of our dog (we have super high standards) and was very communicative. Everything went well, and we would book her again.
We cannot recommend Hope highly enough. Our dog Chester is normally overwhelmed when meeting new people, but he immediately loved Hope (she came prepared with treats to win him over.) Hope was very communicative leading up to her stay and confirmed the details with us several times. She arrived on time and Chester remembered her immediately. Hope texted us pictures and updates of her time with Chester, making us feel at ease while we were away. She went above and beyond her duties and when we came home, our house was in better condition than when we left it. We will absolutely rebook Hope to watch Chester in the future. Working with her was a wonderful experience.
Hope was wonderful. I always go on vacation and spend most of my time worrying about my pets. Not this time. I could not have asked for anything more. Hope went above and beyond what I expected. Highly recommend.
