Growing up with a dad who loved dogs and a mom who loves dogs and cats, we always had (and still have!) furry companions. My love for dogs and cats began as soon as I was born, my family had a corgi at the time. Her and I grew up together as we were one year apart. She was my first love and first heartbreak. After she passed, we decided no more dogs, it was too painful to say goodbye.. and then we got two more dogs 🤭 the love is worth it! My love for animals runs deep, and as I grew up that love expanded from my own dogs and cats to others. I began volunteering at the local animal shelter with my mom. We walked, played, gave treats, and taught tricks to puppies and dogs as well as snuggled, gave treats, and played with the kittens and cats. Once I was able to drive, I began house sitting and dog sitting for friends and family. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, from my family’s chihuahua (whom I potty trained as a puppy and took care of until he was a senior) to my sister’s Alaskan Malamute (needing lots of walks, belly rubs, and play time!) and everything in between.
