Pet care experience

This is your pet Air B&B!

Welcome to my family farmette! I have lots of open space for your pet to run while they are here and am close to many walking trails if they need more exercise. I have a few barn cats right now who are all used to dogs, but recently lost my senior dog and am looking to watch your pet! I have experience with both cats and dogs, administering medicine, and just overall loving them. While your pet is here, they are sure to be loved on, sung to, and read to! I'll send you pictures of their adventures so you can know what they are up to.

Heather was wonderful! Abbie was well-cared for and very much at home with Heather and her daughter. Lots of fresh air and space on the property, plus other animals for Abbie to see- chickens, ducks, and kittens—she loved it! Heather was very responsive to texts and sent pictures of Abbie’s activities over the course of the weekend. I look forward to using Heather again and highly recommend her.

Heather was great with our dog, Andie. She’s very kind and easy to work with and she gave great updates/pictures during our dog’s stay.

Heather and her family are the best! We moved 2 hours away, but I drove Brady back to Carlisle so they could watch him over our recent Spring Break trip because he knows and loves them! Highly recommend!

Heather’s family has watched Brady several times. They are our favorite dog sitting family :). We feel so comfortable with them, and Brady always has a great time (he practically pulls me into their house at drop-off). Thanks so much!

Glory was a happy and engaged dog during her stay with Heather and family. They took great care of her. Will definitely use again.

Heather and her family greeted our dogs with loving, open arms. They have a lovely home with a farm which allowed the dogs to be entertained from their playpen with chickens and ducks. Our dogs are completely happy with no problems while they were visiting Heather and Family. Heather is great at communication and gets back to you right away. We asked for pictures and Heather sent lots of pictures to comfort us knowing our girls were safe and well loved.

Where your pet will stay

Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

My daughters have 2 hamsters inside the house, so there is plenty of space for pets. (My senior doberman recently passed away.) Outside, there are chickens and a few ducks, but they are used to dogs and are able to get out of the way. There is an upstairs and downstairs and I have baby gates if stairs are an issue for your pet. My doberman was not crate trained, but was well behaved and loved his dog bed. If your pet loves their crate, I have room for it. The yard is fenced in on 3 sides, but I prefer to use a leash when outside. I am a short distance from flat walking trails and would love to walk your dog if that is something they are able to do.

A typical day

I have a large yard and are close by flat walking trails. If they just like to stay inside and be cozy and watch squirrels and chickens from the windows they can do that too.
