My schedule is super flexible as I am a SAHM (stay at home mom) and my little guy is super easy going with day-to-day stuff. We are out on walks most every day anyways!

Right now I am only offering dog walking as I do not have adequate space to host other pets in my home, but when I am the caretaker for any animal the first and most important priority is safety. I will not hesitate to remove us (me and your critter) from any environment that seems unsafe or that is putting your pup in a stressful position. I am a loud advocate for a dog's personal space, and have and will continue to enforce boundaries on behalf of the animals in my care.

I always like to know how the pet acts on a leash before hand, my own dog was crazy on a leash and I've helped leash train some friends dogs but it's good to know ahead of time! I don't have any breed restrictions but for your pets and my own safety I prefer to not walk dogs over 50lbs. If your dog is leash reactive, dog reactive, fearful, etc, I would like to know ahead of time! No judgement!
A typical day
We can walk anywhere in your neighborhood, on a specific route, or do different routes each walk. I am comfortable taking dogs out in any weather and any environment. Through town, hiking trails, in circles around the block, rain, shine, snow, it's all fair game to me!

Hello! My name is Erin, I'm currently available for dog walking in the Port Townsend/Hadlock/Ludlow areas, including Chimacum! I have gone to school for veterinary assisting, worked in animal shelters, worked as a wildlife rehabilitator, and have worked in veterinary clinics as well over the last ten years. I am trained and certified in both human, canine and feline CPR and BLS. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and dispositions and am well versed in doggy body language. I am more than happy to follow any requests for walks and basic leash manners as well as stay on a route or in a neighborhood you prefer! In my own time I enjoy yoga, hiking, backpacking, and camping. We live a fairly active lifestyle so you can be assured I will get your puppy the workout they need to feel happy and relaxed.
