Availability
I work full-time at a Boston Hospital. However, I am a night shift nurse who works 36 hours overnight per week. The nights I work do charge each week, but I have a lot of availability during the day. I also only work every third weekend.

I don’t plan to care for pets in my home as I live in an apartment in South Boston. However, I plan to care for pets in my clients’ homes well. I want your pet to feel safe and be excited that their friend has arrived to walk them, feed them, spend time with them, etc.
Information Emma D. would like to know about your pet
Let me know how long you would like me to walk your dog for, and if they are friendly with people and other dogs! I would also like to know if you want your dog fed or given water!
A typical day
I love to walk dogs around different parts of the city. There are plenty of dog parks, grassy areas, and wide sidewalks near where I live that I like to walk my dogs through. If your dog is high energy, I will run with them at the start of the walk as well!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since my family rescued our first dog over 12 years ago. I have experience walking dogs, feeding dogs, washing dogs, and giving dogs their medications. I’m a night shift nurse, so I have unique availability that people in other careers may not. I specialize in taking care of people in their most vulnerable states, and would love to do the same for your pet.
Reviews
Emma has an enormous heart for animals and is an amazing person. She has such a positive energy that radiates towards the people that are around her, never failing to bring smiles to people’s faces. As she has two dogs already at home, I have no doubt that she will take amazing care of your beloved pets.
Emma is amazing! She helped us out many times taking our dog, Tito, on his afternoon walks when we'd be gone for the day. She was always on time, had great communication with us, and sent great photo updates! Tito would get so excited anytime he saw Emma walking down the street, so we know she did such a great job with him!
Emma is an extremely family oriented person with a massive love for dogs. Living away from her home in Connecticut (and her 2 family dogs) is in my opinion the main factor for wanting to spend time with others’ dogs because she misses and loves her own so much. She’s the type of person that will stop you to ask if she can pet your dog… so she might look familiar. Truly, Emma will enjoy the company of your dog more than anyone else. Lastly, as an ICU nurse she has the experience and empathy any pet owner would look for to assure your pet is in good care.
