Great with almost all animals
I’ve taken care of and had dogs of my own for many many years. I have handle anything from newborn puppies and up and all types. I will provide treats, some toys and other things. Please bring your baby’s food and anything they prefer that you like make them more comfortable. They may prefer a certain toy, treat, blanket, etc. Feel free to bring those items.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication. I had to reach out every day just to get an update on Jack. Since she lives with several young children, I was already a bit concerned because Jack had never been around children before, and I wanted to know how he was adjusting. Most of the time, the only response I received was, “He’s doing fine,” and on some days I didn’t hear back until late in the evening. When paying for a pet sitter, I believe it’s reasonable to expect at least a couple of updates each day, especially from someone new. The lack of communication left me feeling worried throughout his stay. Jack also came home with a severe flea infestation. He had never had fleas before, and by the time I picked him up, he was constantly scratching and his skin was visibly irritated. In addition, he came home extremely exhausted, which is very unusual for him. We regularly run six miles together, and even after that he still has plenty of energy. During his stay he wasn’t exercising, yet he returned completely drained. He was so exhausted that he could barely stay on his feet for more than a minute. He would take a few steps, lie back down, and immediately fall into a deep sleep. I have never seen him like that before. Because I received almost no information about his daily routine or behavior, I was left wondering whether he spent long periods outside or simply wasn’t able to rest due to stress. Those are only assumptions, since I was never given any explanation about how he did during his stay. Overall, I wish there had been much better communication and more transparency throughout the boarding experience.
Emily was great with all 3 of our labs. Will definitely be recommending her to friends and family!
I can’t say enough about Emily! She watched both of my pups while I was away on vacation and they were sooo loved! She sent lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely be boarding with her in the future.
She’s great. Accommodated my very short notice schedule as well as an addition. Also sent pictures. I think my dog was sad to come home.

A typical day
I have a large yard and a neighborhood to walk the dogs. I will play with the babies and make sure they are comfortable. They are allowed on furniture and allowed to roam.
