Hi! My name is Doug, and I live in Holly Springs, NC with my wife and our 4.5-year-old Golden Doodle, Bentley. Bentley is the sweetest dog I’ve ever had and absolutely loves making friends with dogs of all sizes. I’ve always been a dog lover. Growing up, my family had Golden Retrievers, and my sister and I shared the responsibilities of walking, feeding, and cleaning up after them in the backyard. I also regularly watched neighborhood dogs while families were on vacation and there was one neighbor's dog I walked every day after school. If you decide to have your dog stay with Bentley and me while you’re at work or on vacation, we promise your furry friend will have a great time and you’ll have peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy, and well cared for.

Doug was great taking care of my dog. It was easy to tell right away that he’s attentive and genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. His dog, Bentley, is super friendly and got along really well with mine, which made the whole experience even better. Communication was easy, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in his care. I’d definitely recommend Doug to anyone looking for someone reliable and kind to watch their pet!
I could not ask for better care for Miss Mazie our pup. Doug and Maria treated her like I would and sent updates and photos morning and evening. She was very comfortable in their home like she was in her own home. I will definitely select Doug next time we go away and need a place for Mazie to stay!!!
Doug was great with watching Onyx. Our boys got along well which was awesome.
Our female English cream golden retriever stayed with Doug for 4 nights and it could not have gone better. Our dog can be nervous in new environments, but Doug was extremely understanding and helped her settle in for the weekend. Doug took her on daily walks with his resident dog, took them to the dog park and provided overall excellent care. He is super responsive and always sent daily updates. I would certainly recommend him as a dog sitter.
Doug took such good care of my dog Martin while I was away in Hawaii for vacation! He made sure Martín had a comfy place in the house to make him feel like he was at home. He sent me daily updates along with pictures. He even FaceTimed me to show them walking on the beach! Martín was sooo happy and would 100% recommend Doug to any dog mom.

I currently live in Holy Springs, NC with my 4.5 year old golden doodle Bentley. Bentley is the sweetest dog I've ever had and loves other dogs big and small. The main reason I am providing dog boarding services is so Bentley has friend over the house ever now and then. Bentley and I like to go on 2 walks a day, morning and night and will usually stop at the dog park in our community as well. On the weekend we'll often check out one of the many nature trails in the area for a change of pace. I also work from home 80% of the time so I am home throughout the day for bathroom breaks or any other needs your dog may have.

Safety, trust & environment
Although Bentley is a good boy now he was a mischievous puppy so I know the importance of setting up a safe and comfortable environment for dogs so they can be relaxed and thrive. I always keep a clean house so there is nothing for the dogs to get into/eat by accident. Bentley does not sleep in a crate but if you prefer your dog to we have room to accommodate. Bentley will also share one of his two beds around the house or you can provide one if you'd like. I would be more than happy to do a meet&greet so we can make sure our dogs will get along while you are away on your trip. I can also provide daily updates/pictures if requested.
Pets
A typical day
Bentley and I usually go for a morning walk at around 7:30am for 30-45 minutes. Our community also has a dog park where I let Bentley run around/play fetch. We'll go for another walk in the evening around 6:30-7:00pm. I work from home so I am available every 2-3 hours for bathroom breaks. We have a small fenced yard.
