Pet care experience

I have been caring for cats for 5 years; both my own and friends of mine. I can work with them on harness and leash training in my safely enclosed courtyard. In cats not requiring sedation, I am able to provide grooming as well.

I just had to cancel and reschedule flights, lose at least one day of the holiday weekend with family, and do an emergency pickup of my cats from Dorian. He seemed very sweet when I met him. I was nervous because he has cats, and my fully indoor cats had never stayed with anyone but one friend who didn't have cats in the house. They have never dealt with the territorial behavior that his outdoor/indoor cats are used to. He assured me that if there was an issue with the cats not getting along, he would close the door between his bedroom and the living room of his apartment, so his cats could go in and out of his bedroom window if they wanted, and my cats be comfortable. There was a little expected hissing from one of his cats when they were introduced a few days later, and he again assured me he would separate the cats if they didn't warm up to each other. He stopped sending me photos a couple days ago, and when I asked him about it tonight he complained about my cats being so uptight and how they "need to learn to participate in the wrestling". I said no, just separate them like you said you would and he responded "Im retracting my statement about keeping them separate [...] and they are going to learn{...}". He said that supposedly one of my cats did something they have never done before if their 4 and 12 respective years we've had them since being kittens: he claimed they peed on a bed. That is crappy, and I am paying him for the cleaner he purchased, but if they have never done that before then that is a sign they didn't feel safe going to the litter box. After asking again about separating them he called me going off about being criticized and not needing my negativity and that I should find someone else for the cats, which I am happy to do to keep them away from an unsafe situation. The whole situation was preventable on his part, but he wanted them to learn their lessons I guess. It sucks because he agreed on measures to make it safe then refused to do them. He hadn't even fed them at 11pm. Now I am desperately trying to find another sitter before the flight I just had to reschedule has to be pushed again. This has been a terrible, stressful experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Dorian will really get to know your particular cat(s) & pay attention to what they individually need, as well as what they would most likely enjoy.

Dorian did a great job taking care of my puppy while I was working. He took Cooper to the dog park and made sure he was fed and walked frequently. I trust Dorian to take care of my pet whenever I’m working or out of town.
