I’ve had pets my entire life and have always cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds. I also have 17 years of professional animal care experience. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, including nervous, fearful, stressed, reactive, and energetic dogs. My experience includes feeding, cleaning, administering medications, monitoring health and behaviour, and keeping animals safe and comfortable. I also have extensive experience with dog behaviour and training, socialization, obedience, positive reinforcement, and reading body language. I’m comfortable adapting my approach to each dog’s individual personality and needs, and always provide calm, patient, and attentive care.

Safety, trust & environment
At this time I may not be able to provide in home boarding but I do have a large, fully fenced-in backyard where your dog can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime. I’ll always be outside with your dog to supervise and ensure they are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their time outdoors.

Dionne is definitely an awesome human being! She cares deeply for all animals, except maybe spiders! She has previously worked in the behaviour department at the Winnipeg Humane Society and is knowledgeable in dog behaviour. She has also worked in Doggy Day Care. She can easily handle giant breed dogs. She had worked with a company where St. Bernard dogs would travel with her to their credit union sites. Dionne also owns giant breed dogs, along with small dogs, usually together as a pair. She has cared for our dog and cat on numerous occasions. Dionne is very compassionate and trustworthy person who would be an asset to your company.
My dog is head over heels in love with Dionne. The amazing care she provides is top-notch! I can't say enough wonderful things about her!
Dionne is absolutely amazing with my dogs! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them. She is very kind, reliable and the dogs love seeing her! Her love for dogs is clear! I’m so lucky to have her take care of the dogs while we are away!

Schedule
I’m a stay at home mom looking to slowly get back into the work place while doing what I love. I’m available most days and just need a day or two notice in advance.
