Pet petter, walker, lover
I’ve cared for and looked after other people’s pets, children and homes since I was young. I grew up in a household that was always full of various animals from lizards and bunnies to cats and dogs, and was always taught to treat other’s pets/children/homes as my own. Having lived in Michigan, Colorado and Oregon, I've walked dogs in all sorts of weather. I enjoy getting a glimpse of how other people live by pet sitting and dog walking. I also provided short term care for friends and family’s pets as needed, including birds, cats, and dogs. In 2018 I hiked 500 miles with my two dogs at the time and saw the positive effects that exercise and the outdoors had on them, and want to help other people and their pets have that experience as well. I always follow the instructions left by a pet owner as close as possible to ensure the pet feels comfortable with me and so that I maintain a semblance of their normal routine. I enjoy taking pets with me on adventures hiking trails, to the beach and on runs as long as the owner approves. I like to take lots of pictures and videos as well and share updates on a daily basis, unless requested otherwise.

Danielle was great. She was able to accommodate my last minute booking, and has great communication. My dog loved playing fetch in her huge fenced in yard. Will definitely book with Danielle again.

This is my first time using a pet sitter and it has been such a relief finding Danielle through rover. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my cat Lucy is taken care of and to keep her company while I’ve been gone. I would gladly use Danielle again.

Danielle was great! My schedule changed and then got rearranged again and Danielle was very flexible, accommodating and responsive. My pup just loved her and she took great care of him and the house. I will be using her again!

Schedule
I’m a full time bus driver for the city and work four ten hour days (tuesday-friday) with three days off each week. Some days I am gone for 6-8 hours at a time, but other days I am around full time.

I enjoy walking (obviously) and will take your pet for walks if that’s their preference. But if they prefer to Netflix and chill, I do that too.
A typical day
I’m always down for a hike and enjoy exploring new places, but also enjoy revisiting favorites. I'm always open to suggestions and like trying new things.

- I like to learn about a dog’s behaviors and preferences and an owner’s typical routine so that I can replicate that to the best of my ability while caring for your pet/s. I will always ask for triggers, daily walk and feeding schedule, food allergies, and how active your pet is. If a dog gets two walks a day, I'll do that, but if they prefer to cuddle on the couch, I do that, too.
