I’m currently attending University of California, Irvine while also working in a research lab, so I’m used to balancing a structured schedule and staying organized. I’m also very active as a member of the triathlon team at UCI, which means I already spend a lot of time outdoors and love going on morning and evening walks or runs. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and incorporating walks, playtime, feeding, and quality attention into my day feels very natural for me.

Before caring for a pet, I think it’s really important to know their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I’d love to know things like their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, energy level, and whether they have any anxieties, triggers, or medical concerns.
A typical day
Since I’m very active, I especially enjoy taking dogs on walks, light runs, hikes, or trips to nearby parks if appropriate for their energy level. For more relaxed pets, I’m equally happy spending time indoors playing with toys, practicing tricks, brushing/grooming, or simply keeping them company while studying or relaxing.

I grew up with many pets and regularly walk my own dogs. I have also had experience taking care of a dog with no bladder control, constant urinary tract infections, and the need to be manually expressed. I am very comfortable taking care of both big and small dogs. I not only have experience with dogs but have also housesitted for a household with five cats.

Danielle is the best! She has taken great care of my 5 cats and pet turtles for over 2 years now. She is a very sweet girl who is trustworthy and reliable and my cats love her. She keeps the litter boxes clean, plays with the cats, is able to administer an insulin shot for my diabetic cat, cleans the turtle’s water and feeds them their worms, keeps everything tidy, and even waters my plants. She is my go to person, whether it is for just one night or two weeks. I know my pets are in good hands when Danielle is taking care of them. Thanks!
