My long life has been blessed and enhanced by the company of many, many animal companions including dogs, cats, birds, pigs, chickens, geese, horses, deer, and even a skunk! I'm a retired nurse and can promise your dog will receive care and love while sharing my home. Besides owning the above animals I personally have been a sitter with Rover for three years, both in Virginia and in Colorado. I have been blessed to have many repeat clients and loved getting to know their dogs on an extended basis. Walks can be provided per request to supplement my large fenced backyard. I live next door to a school and park so walks are easy and convenient. I currently have a wonderful border collie named Cargo. I am retired so your pet(s) will be my highest concern without other scheduling conflicts. I am available 7 days a week including holidays and weekends. I have a fenced backyard and live next to a park so walking your dog there is an option also. I can crate your dog or they can sleep with me also!

We met Colleen at her home several weeks before boarding our Havanese pup. We were impressed with the clean house, spacious backyard, and interest Colleen took in caring for our pet. While we were gone for 4 days, she texted us an update on how well everything was going and how well Toby was fitting in with the family. We won't hesitate to use her boarding services again.
Colleen is so good with Vania. She just loves dogs and it’s so nice to not to have to worry about my dog when I am out of town.

A typical day
Your pet will be my primary focus while boarding with me. Playing games, grooming, going for walks are all possible. I'm home most of the day to give your dog the attention it deserves.
