I’ve lived with, raised and helped care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am retired and with the loss of our own senior dog I have time on my hands. My favorite hiking buddies are the large, four legged variety, preferably off-leash with reliable recall. Let me spoil your dog with attention.

Safety, trust & environment

I currently have an unfenced yard with significant space between neighbors and access to numerous close local trails. Our home has many dog beds and a crate that can fit a 100lb dog. Dogs with good social skills preferred as I often care for family’s pets as well.

We got so lucky with this lovely couple, watching our two Bernese mountain dogs. My husband and I were seriously worried they wouldn’t want to come home with us! Cathy is kind, communicative, and just the best.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I am retired so pet care easily fits into my schedule with advance notice and suitable before hand meeting and planning. I do request dogs are crate trained so I am able to ski for 3-4 hours without concern.

Cathy can host up to 1 drop-in per day
Home can be contained to one level and suitable for easy access to the yard. Deck can also be contained for sunbathing or nature watching.
