I am a nurse, so I work 3 days a week. I am available 4 days to watch or walk dogs. I do not have a set schedule, so communication is very important. My kids are also eager to help. My daughter and her boyfriend help when I work and both are over 18. We all love animals! I am willing to pick up and drop off within a 10 mile radius. Just ask tell me what you need help with and I will let you know how I can accommodate.

While I do not have a fenced in yard, we are used to taking Kirby outside frequently. When weather is good I will take Kirby for 3 walks a day, sometimes up to 2 or 3 miles a walk. If your dog loves walking, we welcome him or her! The house is dog friendly and dogs are welcomed to relax in the furniture or in laps. I also have extra crates if your dog needs a safe place. Kirby loves her kennel and sleeps in, so the kennel has never been for punishment in our house. Kirby’s stomach is very sensitive to a variety of foods, that being said, the treats that we have are high quality and we always share with other dogs. Any dog that is with us will feel like a part of our family. They will get treats, rubs, play time, training time, and cuddle time like our very own Kirby!

I will take females in heat, I went through it with Kirby, so I know what to expect. But I will need advance warning in case I take more than 1 dogs at a time. Otherwise, just let me know about your dog’s personality and if they are anxious and how I can help.
A typical day
Mental and physical stimulation is very important. I have multiple toys and games I play with Kirby and your dog can join us. I had Kirby in training for 5 months to help her anxiety, so we still do some of those training sessions at home. Commands help dogs stay consistent, so if there are certain commands and hand motions you use for your dog, please let me know.

I’ve been using Rover for my own dogs for over 2 years. I’ve decided to try to help others now since I only work 3 days a week as a nurse. When I am not available, my daughter and her boyfriend help. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and rescued Kirby 3 years ago. She needs a lot of time and care due to her anxiety, so I understand how to be patient with other dogs. We went to training class for 5 months, learned how to help dogs with anxiety and how to keep them mentally and physically active. We just rescued June Bug this last summer from the Humane Society and have had to learn a whole new skill set for her as well. We are patient and adore dogs of all ages.

Milo had a great time! Carla, her human and her dog families warmly welcomed him into their home. We appreciated all the communication, updates and pictures while we were out of town.
Carla came through with a last minute holiday request to check in on my two cats, including one who needed oral medicine. Very communicative and timely given the quick turnaround needed. I felt like my kiddies were in good hands. Came home to no messes and satisfied cats.

I have a very last minute booking and Carla came in and save the day. Well technically my dog bladder but a win is a win. She responded so fast and was very nice with update throughout the interaction. Would absolutely book again.
