I am a teacher, so I am unemployed for the summer and work 9-5 Mon-Friday with occasional days off and long weekend or week breaks. As a teacher, it is in my personality to want to help/take care of other people, as well as animals.

A typical day
A typical day with the dog I watch is pretty chill and structured! We usually start the morning with a quick potty break, breakfast, and a little walk or playtime. During the day, we rotate between relaxing, short walks, cuddle time, and enrichment toys to keep them busy. In the afternoon we’ll go out again for a longer walk or potty break, then hang out inside. Evenings are for one last potty break, dinner, and calming down before bedtime. Lots of love, routine, and attention all day!

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid! I have a huge family, so I am always helping out with my cousins dogs. This year, I started volunteering at animal shelters with any extra time I may have on my hands. I found it to be the most fulfilling experience. I have fostered 4 puppies, and they all have found their forever homes! I also take dogs out of the shelter on my days off to get some exercise and love.
