Caring, patient and active sitters
Hi there! Mark and I are caring, patient and playful people who have loved dogs our entire lives. We have over 5 years of dogsitting and walking experience and have our own rescue, Gala. We are both very active people and will play, walk, run and take your dog to the park. We know that dogs have their own unique personalities and quirks so we like to take the time to get to know your pooch and make sure they're comfortable in our home while you're away. Your dog will always be treated just like a family member with us! With our fully remote jobs, your dog is in good hands with us. We have experience with taking care of rescues and seniors as well. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We both work for fully remote companies during the week so we have very flexible schedules and can accommodate for your pup’s daily routine as needed. We understand that your pup may be anxious or have separation anxiety at first. We’ll take the time to make your pup feel at home through providing a comfortable environment, positive reinforcement and of course, lots of patience!

Safety is one of our top priorities. Our house is dog safe (as we have our own pup). When house sitting, we follow the owner’s rules to ensure their pup is following the same routine and requirements.

Our dogs took to Bernice right away! My parents are older, so we booked her to walk our dogs for 7 days while we were away. She kept us updated with cute photos and description of how each walk went - we knew by the way she wrote that she was taking good care of them. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing our fur babies were in good hands!
Bernice was awesome with our cockapoo. Walked, fed and take good care of him. Will definitely be reaching out when we need a drop in visit.
This is my second time having Bernice & Mark look after Jules, they’ve been amazing! It’s so helpful to have people I can trust to look after him :)
Having previously worked in commercial dog daycares myself, and seeing the chaos that happens there, I was super nervous about finding a place for Jules to stay while I go into the office. I am really happy to have found Bernice & Mark to look after Jules! They were very understanding and accommodating of Jules’ quirks and were happy to continue the positive reinforcement I use with him at home. I received updates throughout the day with pictures and he was even calm enough to settle and have a nap! Which is a big deal - Jules is usually too overstimulated in new environments to settle, so seeing him so relaxed assured me that I had made the right choice in Bernice & Mark.
My dog loves her
Bernice was great! She was on time and kept my dog great company while I was gone for work. I was happy to get picture updates as well through out her stay in my home. I will definitely book her again!
