Information Barbara L. would like to know about your pet

I love to know all the details and quirks of personality so I can make your baby as comfortable as possible as quickly as possible. I will only feed your dog food and snacks/treats that you provide and specify. (unless we agree otherwise) Here is a handy "packing list" you can use: -Adequate food and treats for the entire stay *plus one extra day's worth in case of emergencies -Several favorite toys, ideally including at least one that can go outside, something cuddly if that's your dog's thing, and something hard to chew as a chew toy is often comforting in a new environment and a kong is always handy. -A favorite, bed, mat or blanket (or all of the above) for cozy sleeping. Preferably something with the scent from you and your house. -Food bowls -Leash, harness/collar and clearly readable ID tag and rabies tag attached. -A brush if your dog's fur is easily matted and the stay is longer than 4 days. -Please always complete the Rover care notes before your stay, or alternatively bring them written out when you begin the stay. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your baby!

A typical day

I normally wake up and hit the gym or run/walk in the area behind my apartments. Then I am home, or at a near by cafe/restaurant enjoying my afternoon.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Barbi, a proud dog mom to my sweet 3-year-old poodle. 🐶 I work in the fitness industry with a hybrid schedule, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pup the attention and care they deserve. I’m an active person who loves getting outside for walks and runs around the neighborhood, and I’d be happy to have a furry companion join me! I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll treat your pup like they’re part of my own family. ❤️

Barbara was great for our dog, Charlie. He's usually pretty hesitant around new people and places, but he immediately fell in love with her. He even showed her his belly, which he almost never does. She really knows how to care for dogs! She sent pictures to us and Charlie looked happy and relaxed in all of them. She also gave him plenty of exercise, which was great for us. She was super flexible and accommodating of all of our needs. We will definitely have her watch our bub again!

Barbara was fantastic as always! She always handles my high energy, special needs pitbull well and my new puppy had a great time cuddling on the couch with her. Thank you Barbara!

Barbara was amazing with our older pooch. Barbara gave him lots of love and attention and he was in no hurry to come home from her comfy apartment.

I could tell that Barbara treated my dog well when my dog didn’t want to leave. Thanks Barbara!
