I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and with a variety of needs. Volunteer with humane rescue alliance in DC since 2024 (can provide verification upon request) and certified to work with “blue” dogs. I regularly interact and sit for my brother and friends’ cats! Lots of references available!

Avani is an outstanding pet sitter! She has taken care of my cat, Kali, many times and always makes an effort to play with and stimulate the kitty. She also watched Kali during her post-spay recovery and was great at following any special instructions or requests I had! Avani is a phenomenal pet caregiver! I left my beloved senior dog Roxy in her care many many times over the course of 4 years of living in the city, and i know my Roxy always had the best time. My pup adored spending time with Avani and would get so excited to see her everytime! I even left Roxy with Avani for a whole month while I was traveling and I felt so at peace knowing she was so well cared for. Avani sent me tons of photos and was so communicative especially when Roxy had a minor medical emergency (which Avani handled like a true professional). I truly could not have imagined leaving my pup in better hands. Avani really cares for every animal as if they were her own and i could not recommend a better pet sitter!
Avani is a wonderful pet sitter and I’d recommend her to any pet owner! She has taken care of my two cats, Miso and Spoons, like they were her own animals. Very attentive, responsive, and caring. She also has experience working at a foster center and can handle dogs of all backgrounds. Can’t recommend enough!
