Hi there! I’m Anna, a passionate animal lover with a lifelong connection to dogs and pets of all kinds. I’m currently working on a 2 year dog training certification to become a professional trainer in force-free, positive reinforcement based techniques and science with a CTC title by the end. I’ve raised three puppies to adulthood and have worked as a dog trainer. Fun fact: I’ve also trained small animals like gerbils, chipmunks, and sugar gliders! Currently, I don’t have a dog in my life and deeply miss the joy of being around these amazing companions. That’s why I’m excited to be on Rover—to help care for your dog and share some wonderful outdoor adventures! My Approach: I’m a firm believer in positive reinforcement and consistent training. I’ll happily align with your training methods during our walks and ensure your pup gets mental stimulation alongside physical activity. Every pet is unique, and I’m committed to accommodating their specific needs—so feel free to share any special requests or routines! A Bit About Me: By day, I work in a technical field (though taking a small break to work on dog training certification), but my heart belongs to the great outdoors. Whether hiking, long-distance walking, biking, or rucking, I love exploring the beauty around us. I’ll bring this energy to every walk, ensuring your pup has a fun, fulfilling experience. I’m a punctual person and will always aim to arrive a bit early so I have time to greet your dog and ensure they feel comfortable before we head out for our walk. It’s important to me that your pup is relaxed and ready for the adventure ahead.

Anna has been such a great find on Rover! She is outstanding with caring for my pup while taking her out on great walks. She provides exceptionally sweet and informative updates and is very reliable. I feel totally at ease knowing my pup is in such good hands with her.

Schedule
I currently offer dog walking, house sitting, and check-ins, as I also work full-time in a technical field. That said, I have flexibility in my work hours and will do my best to accommodate your and your pet's needs. As an avid walker and hiker, I’d love to bring your pup along for some fun outdoor adventures!
