I’m a 29-year-old Italian guy who has always grown up surrounded by animals and especially dogs. For me, dogs have always been part of the family and today I have a little brother called Pongo, an 11-year-old Weimaraner who has been my best companion for years. ❤️ I’ve been taking care of dogs for more than 10 years, both my own and other people’s dogs. During my university years, I regularly looked after dogs of all kinds, from small French Bulldogs and Beagles to bigger and more energetic dogs such as Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Huskies and German Shepherds. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities and energy levels. I’m an outdoorsy person and I love spending time outside, so I’d be more than happy to take your dog on long walks, to the park, or simply spend some time playing and having fun together. I’m also available for home visits, overnight stays and looking after your dog for several days if needed. Most importantly, I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I treat every dog as if they were my own, with patience, attention and lots of affection. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. 🐶 A little bit about me: I recently moved to Munich, I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering, and outside of work I’m happiest when I’m outdoors, exploring new places and, of course, spending time with dogs!

Mi sono trovato davvero molto bene con [Nome], che si è preso cura di Sandy, il mio cane lupo. È stato molto bravo e attento con lei, portandola spesso fuori e dedicandole tempo e attenzioni, sia durante le passeggiate che quando erano in casa. Ho apprezzato molto anche la sua disponibilità e la flessibilità con gli orari: ogni volta è venuto incontro alle mie esigenze senza problemi, rendendo tutto molto semplice. Anche quando è stato a casa mia si è comportato in maniera impeccabile, sempre educato, rispettoso degli spazi e mai invadente o fuori luogo. In generale è una persona davvero affidabile, disponibile e si vede che ha un ottimo rapporto con gli animali. Mi sono sentito tranquillo nel lasciargli Sandy e, dovessi avere nuovamente bisogno, mi affiderei sicuramente a lui. Ottima esperienza!
Alberto has helped care for my two Labrador brothers, now 6.5 years old, since they were puppies. Both walking them whilst in the city in winter and house sitting and hiking and swimming with them at the seaside in summer. He has been particularly diligent and helpful since one of the boys was diagnosed with DCM and has attended vet appointments with us and also helped administer life saving heart medicines on a strict schedule. Alberto grew up with dogs and his family’s Weimaraner is my boys best friend. He is utterly responsible and trustworthy and we will miss him terribly now that he has moved. Can wholeheartedly recommend Alberto to care for your pets both inside and outside your home, he is loving and caring (and very tidy in the hous) and of course sends regular pupdates as to what his charges are up to! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Schedule
I have a flexible routine and enjoy spending a lot of my free time outdoors, so taking care of dogs fits naturally into my daily life. I’m available for walks, park time and play during the week, as well as home visits and longer stays when needed. I’m happy to adapt my schedule to each dog’s routine, including their usual walking, feeding and rest times. I see dog sitting as something I genuinely enjoy, rather than just a job

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m looking after a dog in my home or at the owner’s home, my priority is always making them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. I take the time to understand each dog’s habits, personality and specific needs before taking care of them. Over the years, I have also looked after dogs with specific health conditions, including heart problems, which required extra attention and care. In these situations, I’m particularly careful about following the owner’s instructions, making sure any medication is given at the correct time and keeping a close eye on the dog throughout the day. I also believe that having a health condition shouldn’t mean a dog can’t have fun. I always try to find the right balance between play, walks and rest, adapting activities to their energy level so they can enjoy themselves without becoming too tired or putting their health at risk. I’m used to living with dogs and understand that every dog is different. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and treat every dog with the same patience, attention and affection I would give to my own dog. 🐶
