Animals truly are my passion and I will make sure your animal feels loved and safe in my care. I have lots of experience with puppies, I have trained 4 of my own in the past few years. As well as I have experience with adult dogs for about 5 years now. I have also worked with sugar gliders, rats, hedgehogs, snakes, raccoons, ferrets, fish and turtles! I have a wide variety of experience with nervous, aggressive, excited, and lazy dogs. There’s not much that will scare me away so please let me know if your dog has any behavior issues, or special needs. I am kind of a nerd about dog training and reading body language, so rest assured I will be able to understand your dog. I also have lots of experience with multi dog households, many of my clients have 3 or more dogs. Many experience conflict or inter-pack aggression and require a close eye to keep the peace. I work closely with a professional dog trainer with my own pups and have lots of education on behavior, and am always learning to navigate new issues with behaviors. I have completed a veterinary technician course and have extensive knowledge about medical care! I have experience giving animals basic medical care, like administering oral, topical or injectable medications, wound care, and take vitals. I also have experience with seniors who need a little extra help getting around, or more frequent care! Nothing scares me away so please let me know how I can best help your kiddos! I have also had cats my entire life, and am a foster at Cumberland County Animal Shelter and have extensive experience with neonatal kittens/ mama cats and neonatal puppies/ mother dogs. My long term goal is to start an internship with a trusted trainer to further my education about behavior and training!

I have 5 of my own kiddos at home, so walks are a frequent thing for me. I feed my dogs complex meals with supplements and medication so I have no issue with preparing raw meals or meals with lots of components. I provide daily enrichment and hands on play with pups (or kitties) to provide mental stimulation and trust with each other. Genuinely entertaining your animal is my goal, however best fits them. I will make sure everything stays as close to normal for them as I know change can be hard.

Alanna really treats your animals as if they were her own! She loves on them, plays with them, and gives them lots of treats! She stays in great communication and always sends lots of photos throughout her time with them! Whenever I book her, I know my animals will be well taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough!

Alanna is the kindest, most thoughtful, and most professional sitter we’ve worked with! She is wonderful with our cat and our husky, very thorough and knowledgeable, and flexible when something goes wrong (like when we get stranded overnight during a flight home and need to extend our booking or we forget to leave the key). We’re extremely grateful to have found her and I highly recommend you book with her and tell all your friends about her as well!
As always Alanna is incredible, communicative, sends amazing photos! I completely trust her with our rescue crew and home. Love that Alanna knows how to give each dog the activities they need, including exploring some fun training games with them.
Alanna always goes above and beyond to make sure our pups are happy and healthy and our home is secure. She doesn't hesitate to reach out if something seems out of the ordinary. And I guarantee our dogs would rate her 1000 stars for making their time together so fun.
