Paws-it-ively love pets!
I grew up caring, training and assisting in raising German Shepherds since I was 5 yrs old. I trained my first German Shepherd at age 11 and placed second in obedience and showmanship competition. Have also grown up with having a cat. Been in charge of taking care of neighbors dogs, cats, horses and cows since I was 12. Throughout the years I have taken care of dogs from birth to elderly. I also have one year of experience working at a vet clinic and have been a certified barn manager (I didn't pay to renew my certification). Thus, I am familiar with various care and prevention strategies for all kinds of animals.

In taking dogs on walks I am careful to avoid walking near other dogs and observe surroundings that may cause an issue. I also pay attention to behavior factors such if the dog is showing beginning signs of getting hot or tired.

I can’t say enough good things about Abbey. From the very beginning, she was communicative, and followed through on all things pre-visit. Prior to meet and greet, she made time to learn my 4 dogs names from pics. When we met she named them all…telling them apart even though they all look nearly identical. This was amazing to me!! She has a great vibe and my dogs really enjoyed her :) It gave me such peace of mind knowing my doggies were in capable, attentive hands. Abbey shared visit pics and they all looked perfectly content and at ease. Instructions carried out as discussed with no issues. When I returned, they were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for—always the best sign. I would absolutely recommend Abbey to anyone looking for a dependable, kind, and professional sitter. 5 BIG Stars!!

Schedule
I am currently an occupational therapist; thus, I am mainly available on the weekends with a semi-flexible schedule. Reach out to me and we will discuss the details and see if there is something that can work for both of us. If I am unavailable for the weekend, I try to have it updated on my calendar.
