“Whenever you consider leaving your best pal(s) with a stranger, there is always this nagging thought that "There is no way a stranger will treat my dog(s) like I would." When we went to Rodney's house for the Meet&Greet, we were quickly relieved to see that he truly is a "Dog-Person". We were greeted by Izzy, the Pomeranian, and Clifford, the Big Red Dog. Our pack of three Boxers were scrutinized by these two "Greeters" and were given the thumbs-up. Our dogs became instant members of Rodney's pack of three Golden Retrievers and two Pomeranians. About: I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals. My pet sitting days started when I was a teenager and has continued with family and friends. I recently lost my senior dog who made it to 13.5 with many health concerns and we accommodated her joy for walks with a stroller when she wasn't able to walk far anymore. I will give your pet the same customized care. I work during the day but can spend the evening giving them the attention they need. I love taking walks and would love to take your pet along. I can bring your dog to my home for more attention and care (must be cat friendly). Walks and playtime are also an option for more high energy pets. Will keep your pet leashed for potty breaks in my unfenced yard. I can easily crate your pet if needed.
About: My husband and I have had our own dogs for 14 years. In 2023 we moved into our forever home, after a year of renovating an 1883 farmhouse with 8-acres. At that time we started to watch our friends dogs when they went on vacation. Our current lab Brucer lost his brother (Beau -lab) early in 2023 and we noticed how much he enjoys playing with the dogs we watch. We are not ready to commit to having 2 dogs of our own again, but we have enjoyed watching others dogs and most importantly Brucer has enjoyed having friends to play with! Our dog and 2 barn cats are part of our daily routine. We feed them together every morning and evening. Given that we live on 8 remote acres our lab often goes outside to lay in the front yard or wander out back. We will also take him on walks. Our lab comes with us when we go up north during the summer or when we visit our parents. One of us (my husband or I) are home Friday-Monday. We work away from the house Tuesday-Thursday. There are occasional days that I do work from home mid week (feel free to inquire if you want us home). We have 8 acres, part field, part wooded and we live on a dirt road. Our dog has learned to stay in the yard. We prefer to be able to provide your dog with full off leash time. However, we are able to do leashed walks as well.

Amanda had her for 10 days. She is great with daily communication. Including pics of our girl playing, napping, going on walks, little snippets of her day, etc. She is very knowledgable with dogs and you can absolutely tell she is a dog lover. Her two dogs are well loved and did great with our dog. We already have her booked for another vacation. THANK YOU AMANDA!”

Annie did all the things that Roxy loves like to do like swimming, playing fetch and hanging with an adult. Annie even got Ro,y to socialize with a couple dogs which is incredible considering that Roxy is a shephard and not fond of other dogs. Annie was awesome! Great communication and doggie skills!”
