She’s very welcoming and accepted my dog Paul right away - almost a last minute request. She sent me snap chats showing me how much fun he was having. My anxious pup felt comfortable here after a couple days, and was well cared for. We can't do boarding kennels because of my dog's anxiety, so I'm so glad we found this service! I got updates daily about activities and behavior, as well as photos and videos! Gilian is knowledgeable handling anxious dogs, and she has good techniques on introducing dogs to new environments, dogs and people to help ease anxiety. I highly recommend Gilian!”
“After my meet and greet with Emily, I was instantly at ease and knew my young golden retriever would be in good hands. She was very communicative, checking in with me every day to let me know how things were going and what they got up to, and she always included photos! Emily was very flexible both for drop-off/pickup and for stopping by her house over lunch for the first couple of days to check on my pup. Her having a golden retriever of her own and a couple of sweet kids who gave my dog so much love was also a bonus!”

They have a fantastic large fenced in yard where they could safety run and play. They had lots of playtime, but also lots of snuggles and love. They were both clearly enjoying their own vacation at Sarah's while we were gone on ours. It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

The initial meet-and-greet went well and we knew they would be in good hands. Our bloodhound/basset hound mix has occasional seizures (once per 3-6 months) and Brandi was comfortable with that, thankfully. Brandi has a big fenced backyard where the dogs worked out their energy. Daily photos and updates made us confident that our boys were happy and enjoying their stay. Bristol appeared to be well cared for. we did not see Maura at the end of Bristol's stay. It was her first time at a dog sitter and it was a long one. Bristol had many dog friends to get to know. We thought we'd try having Bristol at someone's home instead of at a boarding kennel. We were learning also. We have no idea if everything went as we instructed. We assume it did. There was no actual way of evaluating.
Our dog was well cared for by Julie G. - in fact, he was depressed after returning home! He fell in love with her and her family and we will keep her on our list to use again in the future. Going through Rover was a smooth transition from start to finish. Thanks again Julie!
