Über: Ich bin mit Katzen aufgewachsen und habe dadurch früh gelernt, ihre unterschiedlichen Charaktere und Bedürfnisse zu verstehen. Heute arbeite ich in einer Tierarztpraxis und bringe daher auch Erfahrung im verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit Medikamenten, sowie der Betreuung von kranken oder älteren Katzen mit. Es hat alles super geklappt - von der Schlüsselübergabe bis hin zum aufpassen auf meinen Stubentiger :) Es gab auch Rückmeldung und ein paar Fotos und ein Video. Besonders toll: trotzdessen, das mein Kater sehr scheu ist, war er aufgeschlossen gegenüber Katsiaryna und hat sich sogar streicheln lassen! :) Wir waren wirklich voll zufrieden. :) Gern wieder :)”
“Mit der lieben Sasha hat alles sehr super geklappt. Unsere beiden Katzis sind sehr schüchtern. Die liebe Sasha hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen und war sehr einfühlsam. Felix und Mia haben bereits am zweiten Tag mit Sasha gespielt und sich mit ihr unterhalten. Es gab jeden Tag Videos und Fotos. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat, ist ihre Umsicht und Ordenlichkeit. Bei der Hitze hat sie unseren Katzis noch zusätzlich Schalen für Wasser hingestellt und sogar den Katzenmüll hat sie aus dem Haus getragen. Sasha können wir sehr empfehlen und werden sie auch wieder buchen. Wir sagen nochmal ganz herzlichen Dank an die liebe Sasha.”

Über: Katzen begleiten mich schon seit meiner Kindheit. In meiner Familie hatten wir früher drei Katzen, um die ich mich regelmäßig gekümmert habe. “Lucy hat sich ausgesprochen liebevoll und zuverlässig um unsere zwei Kater gekümmert. Einer unserer Kater neigt bei Stress und Trennung zum Markieren und benötig viel Regelmäßigkeit, auch was das pünktliche Fressen angeht. Lucy konnte ihm sicher seine Medikamente geben und hat es geschafft sich so um ihn zu kümmern, dass er die Zeit ohne uns gut aushalten konnte. Er hat fast gar nicht markiert, was ganz deutlich zeigt, wie gut es ihm ging. Auch unser Eindruck der Kater war wirklich gut. Sie waren entspannt und zufrieden. Besser geht es nicht. Lucy hat sich zudem noch um unsere Gartenpflanzen und die Mülltonnen gekümmert. Sie ist eine sehr angenehme Sitterin, die ganz viel gefragt hat um alles genau zu verstehen und auch sehr viel Bildupdates geschickt hat. Wir können Lucy uneingeschränkt empfehlen.”

Auch beim Haussitting weiß ich, worauf es ankommt: Ich gehe sorgsam mit deinem Zuhause um, halte alles ordentlich, kümmere mich zuverlässig um Post, Pflanzen oder kleine Aufgaben und hinterlasse die Wohnung so, wie du sie verlassen hast. Ein bewohntes, gepflegtes Zuhause gibt nicht nur deinem Tier Sicherheit, sondern auch dir. Ob junger Wirbelwind, der noch viel lernt, oder ein älteres Tier, das etwas mehr Ruhe und Geduld braucht – ich passe mich den Bedürfnissen deines Lieblings an und behandle ihn so, wie ich meine eigenen Tiere behandeln würde. Meine Zeit lässt sich flexibel einteilen, sodass ich die Betreuung gut an die Bedürfnisse deines Tieres anpassen kann. Am liebsten stimme ich den genauen Ablauf vorab persönlich mit dir ab so wissen wir beide, was dein Liebling braucht: feste Futterzeiten, gewohnte Gassi-Runden, Ruhephasen oder besondere Routinen. Ob stundenweise Betreuung, längere Spaziergänge oder eine durchgehende Versorgung über mehrere Tage, wir finden gemeinsam eine Lösung, die zu deinem Alltag und dem deines Tieres passt. Mir ist wichtig, dass dein Vierbeiner verlässliche Zeiten und genug Aufmerksamkeit bekommt, statt zwischen Tür und Angel betreut zu werden. Nur im Zuhause des Besitzers: Ich halte mich an die gewohnte Umgebung deines Tieres und an deine Absprachen von den Futterplätzen über die Gassi-Routen bis zu den Lieblingsplätzen. Gerade ängstlichere oder ältere Tiere profitieren davon, in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung bleiben zu können. Ich gehe achtsam mit deinem Zuhause um, halte alles ordentlich und behalte Türen, Fenster und mögliche Gefahrenquellen im Blick.

Über: I have always been passionate about animal welfare. Throughout my professional career, I have immersed myself in learning as much as I can in regards to Animal Welfare. While my focus has been in dog training, I’ve never been shy about adding to my skills. As such, I’ve apprenticed as a Groomer’s Assistant, completed Canine First Aid and Confirmation courses, and I have even spent time working in Veterinary Clinics. These experiences were fulfilling and allowed me to provide comprehensive information for my human students, therefore bridging the critical gap between training the dog and teaching the human. Most recently in my professional career, I was able to open my own successful dog-training business in the states, collaborating with the families of individuals with disabilities, as well as local Animal Welfare organizations and Rescues to provide critical training for both Service Dogs, and dogs living in pet homes. I focused on tailoring training methods to accommodate diverse needs and frequently developed innovative approaches, all while collaborating with various other Pet Professionals in my area. I'm fairly free in my availabilty, pending time hasn't already been booked by other clients. For drop-ins/walks I start my days at 10AM and, finish at 5PM. I don't take drop-ins/walks on Sundays, but I'm otherwise available the rest of the week. For dogs, I like to spend at least 30-40 minutes a day on decompression walks, just allowing dogs to sniff and enjoy the sensory input they crave. I do NOT do public dog parks or allow greetings for Clients with random animals, and I always carry compressed air-spray in the event an off-leash dog approaches. I'm happy to provide play and light grooming, such as routine brushing and nail trims if applicable and requested. I require at least one Meet & Greet with the owner present before commiting to any sitting requests, as it is imperative to me that the dog is comfortable with me and confident with me entering the home without their owner. For cats, I prefer to let them greet me at their speed while ensuring they have all necessary resources and a clean litterbox. I'm very happy to spend the day with a book and cozy cat at my shoulder or on my lap, but it won't hurt my feelings if the cat is shy and prefers to avoid me. Either way, I'll keep their water filled and their box clean.

When it comes to walks and feeding I understand the importance of routine and try my best to follow the same schedule set in the pets home so they feel more comfortable. Similar when it comes to play time or training, if specifics are mentioned I usually try to upkeep during the boarding. As I have had experience with both WAG and THS I understand that details are important and every animal is different. From the start it is important that communication and the expectations for sitter are established. I like to make sure to be prepared and read all the details the owner states in the profile before confirming.

Aktuell lebe ich mit zwei Hunden (einem Aussie und einem Mischling aus dem Tierheim) sowie zwei Katzen zusammen, sodass bei mir immer etwas los ist. Neben dem Studium bin ich sportlich aktiv (z. B. Joggen, Inliner, Eiskunstlauf und Ballett), aber mein Alltag ist gut planbar, sodass ich genügend Zeit für die Betreuung habe. Mir ist es wichtig, dass Tiere nicht nur versorgt werden, sondern auch Aufmerksamkeit, Beschäftigung und Zuwendung bekommen. Ich richte mich gerne nach den gewohnten Abläufen, damit sich dein Tier wohl und sicher fühlt. Bei mir erwartet dein Tier eine ruhige, liebevolle Umgebung mit viel Platz. Ich lebe in einer großen Maisonette-Wohnung (ca. 100 m²), in der ausreichend Raum für Rückzug und Bewegung vorhanden ist. Ein Garten ist vorhanden und wird bald eingezäunt, zusätzlich ist ein Catio (gesicherter Außenbereich für Katzen) in Planung. Durch meine eigenen Tiere und meine Erfahrung weiß ich, wie wichtig Geduld, Struktur und ein sicheres Umfeld sind. Ich gehe individuell auf jedes Tier ein und sorge dafür, dass es sich bei mir geborgen fühlt. 🐾✨

Über: I always make sure the animals I am with are entertained and happy. I have pet sat dogs and cats of many kinds since I was a tween. I have more experience with cats, but I am good with dogs as well! I am currently volunteering at a cat lounge to clean after and play with over a dozen cats, and I have dog sat at least 2 dogs overnight weekly before. My schedule fluctuates every week. Because of this, I can fit a few days or so each week to make time for your pets with flexibility! There is many hiking trails 2 minutes walking distance from my house, so they can play there as much as they want! I also have a backyard they can run around and play.
