Über: Schon seit meiner Kindheit bin ich von Tieren umgeben und habe dadurch viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit ihnen gesammelt. Angefangen hat alles mit Katzen, die ich versorgt, gefüttert und mit denen ich viel Zeit verbracht habe. Später kamen Hunde dazu, wodurch ich Erfahrungen mit ganz unterschiedlichen Rassen, Größen und Charakteren sammeln konnte. Ich habe sowohl mit kleinen Hunden als auch mit größeren Rassen wie Schäferhunden zu tun gehabt und weiß, dass jedes Tier seine eigenen Bedürfnisse und seine eigene Persönlichkeit hat. Über: We are a young couple who love dogs. We live with two Yorkshire Terriers (both female, spayed one is 6 years old and the other 2), very friendly, playful, and used to being around other dogs. I work from home, so your dog will have company most of the time. We go on daily walks to the forest (just 5 minutes away) and also do sniffing and mental stimulation games. Sometimes I may be out for up to 3–4 hours (e.g. grocery shopping or gym), but my dogs are used to staying alone without any issues. We prefer to care for friendly, social dogs that get along well with small dogs 🐾 I work online, so I spend most of my time at home and can give dogs plenty of attention and supervision. Occasionally, I may be away for 2-3 hours (e.g. gym or grocery shopping), but overall I’m home most of the day. Dogs are taken out regularly, usually 3 times a day, including a daily walk to the nearby forest. I provide a safe and calm home environment. I live in an apartment with quick access to a forest (5 minutes away) for daily walks. Dogs are supervised and treated like family. I only accept friendly, social dogs that get along with small dogs. My two small dogs are gentle and used to other dogs. I can also send photo and video updates 📸🐾

When it comes to walks and feeding I understand the importance of routine and try my best to follow the same schedule set in the pets home so they feel more comfortable. Similar when it comes to play time or training, if specifics are mentioned I usually try to upkeep during the boarding. As I have had experience with both WAG and THS I understand that details are important and every animal is different. From the start it is important that communication and the expectations for sitter are established. I like to make sure to be prepared and read all the details the owner states in the profile before confirming.

Über: Profil in Englisch, aber ich spreche natürlich auch Deutsch. :) Even at the age of 10, I spent every spare minute walking and playing with the neighbour’s dog. As soon as my circumstances and living situation allowed, I was able to adopt my first dog home from an animal shelter. My current dog, Rio, is now my second dog. I also worked at a dog hotel for a while, where my job was to look after many different dogs. This allowed me to gain a lot of experience – whether with puppies, older dogs or dogs with special needs. I will treat each individual dog so that they feel safe, relaxed and welcome. :) The flat where my boyfriend and I live has a large roof terrace, and in just about 10 minutes we can reach Rummelsburg Dog Park, where Rio and I often go. Rio is used to living with other dogs and gets on well with small, large, young and older dogs. He has even lived harmoniously with a blind dog for almost six months. He loves meeting new doggy friends and playing together. I take my dog out 3–4 times a day anyway. We go for at least two long walks a day. However, I’m happy to adapt to the needs of the guest dog and go for shorter walks, just as your four-legged friend is used to. Our flat is spacious and has a lovely roof terrace where the dogs can relax too. There is a staircase in the flat, so it’s important to let us know if your dog has trouble with stairs. The steps are carpeted to prevent anyone from slipping, and there is also a lift in the building. Rummelsburger Bucht and a large dog park are just a few minutes away – perfect for lovely walks and playing together.
