Über: Ich bin mit Katzen aufgewachsen und habe dadurch früh gelernt, ihre unterschiedlichen Charaktere und Bedürfnisse zu verstehen. Heute arbeite ich in einer Tierarztpraxis und bringe daher auch Erfahrung im verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit Medikamenten, sowie der Betreuung von kranken oder älteren Katzen mit. Das bedeutet, dass ich jede Menge Zeit habe, um mich intensiv um deine Samtpfote zu kümmern. Fütterungszeiten, Spieleinheiten mit der Katzenangel und ausgiebige Kuschelzeiten lassen sich perfekt in meinen Alltag integrieren. Da ich selbst zwei liebevolle Katzen, Kiki und Sisi, habe, gibt es hier reichlich Kratzbäume, gemütliche Schlafplätze und katzensichere Fenster. Ich achte sehr darauf, dass sich Neuzugänge in Ruhe eingewöhnen können, ohne gestresst zu werden. Zudem halte ich die Besitzer regelmäßig mit süßen Fotos und Updates auf dem Laufenden, damit sie sich absolut keine Sorgen machen müssen.

Über: I have always been passionate about animal welfare. Throughout my professional career, I have immersed myself in learning as much as I can in regards to Animal Welfare. While my focus has been in dog training, I’ve never been shy about adding to my skills. As such, I’ve apprenticed as a Groomer’s Assistant, completed Canine First Aid and Confirmation courses, and I have even spent time working in Veterinary Clinics. These experiences were fulfilling and allowed me to provide comprehensive information for my human students, therefore bridging the critical gap between training the dog and teaching the human. Most recently in my professional career, I was able to open my own successful dog-training business in the states, collaborating with the families of individuals with disabilities, as well as local Animal Welfare organizations and Rescues to provide critical training for both Service Dogs, and dogs living in pet homes. I focused on tailoring training methods to accommodate diverse needs and frequently developed innovative approaches, all while collaborating with various other Pet Professionals in my area. I'm fairly free in my availabilty, pending time hasn't already been booked by other clients. For drop-ins/walks I start my days at 10AM and, finish at 5PM. I don't take drop-ins/walks on Sundays, but I'm otherwise available the rest of the week. For dogs, I like to spend at least 30-40 minutes a day on decompression walks, just allowing dogs to sniff and enjoy the sensory input they crave. I do NOT do public dog parks or allow greetings for Clients with random animals, and I always carry compressed air-spray in the event an off-leash dog approaches. I'm happy to provide play and light grooming, such as routine brushing and nail trims if applicable and requested. I require at least one Meet & Greet with the owner present before commiting to any sitting requests, as it is imperative to me that the dog is comfortable with me and confident with me entering the home without their owner. For cats, I prefer to let them greet me at their speed while ensuring they have all necessary resources and a clean litterbox. I'm very happy to spend the day with a book and cozy cat at my shoulder or on my lap, but it won't hurt my feelings if the cat is shy and prefers to avoid me. Either way, I'll keep their water filled and their box clean.

Ein Garten ist vorhanden und wird bald eingezäunt, zusätzlich ist ein Catio (gesicherter Außenbereich für Katzen) in Planung. Durch meine eigenen Tiere und meine Erfahrung weiß ich, wie wichtig Geduld, Struktur und ein sicheres Umfeld sind.
