Über: Schon seit meiner Kindheit bin ich von Tieren umgeben und habe dadurch viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit ihnen gesammelt. Angefangen hat alles mit Katzen, die ich versorgt, gefüttert und mit denen ich viel Zeit verbracht habe. Später kamen Hunde dazu, wodurch ich Erfahrungen mit ganz unterschiedlichen Rassen, Größen und Charakteren sammeln konnte. Ich habe sowohl mit kleinen Hunden als auch mit größeren Rassen wie Schäferhunden zu tun gehabt und weiß, dass jedes Tier seine eigenen Bedürfnisse und seine eigene Persönlichkeit hat. Durch die Betreuung der Haustiere von Familienmitgliedern, Freunden und Nachbarn habe ich gelernt, verantwortungsvoll und aufmerksam mit Tieren umzugehen. Dazu gehören Spaziergänge, Fütterung, Beschäftigung, Fellpflege sowie das Erkennen von Bedürfnissen und Verhaltensweisen. Tiere liegen mir sehr am Herzen, und mir ist wichtig, dass sie sich sicher, wohl und gut aufgehoben fühlen. Ich begegne jedem Tier mit Geduld, Respekt und viel Zuneigung. If you leave your dog in my care, you can trust that I’ll make sure he/she has everything that is needed while you’re away. And of course I’ll make sure that I give lots of cuddles and attention for you four legged friend. I worked at a dog hotel for a while, where my job was to look after many different dogs. This allowed me to gain a lot of experience – whether with puppies, older dogs or dogs with special needs. I will treat each individual dog so that they feel safe, relaxed and welcome. :) The flat where my boyfriend and I live has a large roof terrace, and in just about 10 min we can reach Rummelsburg Dog Park, where Rio and I often go. Rio is used to living with other dogs and gets on well with small, large, young and older dogs. He has even lived harmoniously with a blind dog for almost six months. He loves meeting new doggy friends and playing together. I take my dog out 3–4 times a day. We go for at least two long walks a day. However, I’m happy to adapt to the needs of the guest dog and go for shorter walks, just as your four-legged friend is used to. Our flat is spacious and has a lovely roof terrace where the dogs can relax too. There is a staircase in the flat, so it’s important to let us know if your dog has trouble with stairs. The steps are carpeted to prevent anyone from slipping, and there is also a lift in the building. Rummelsburger Bucht and a large dog park are just a few minutes away – perfect for lovely walks and playing together.

Über: Since the early age of 12 I've been in contact with so many cats, of my own and of others (specially trying to seduce my neighbourhood's cats was one of my fav pastimes). At some point I had around 12 cats in my house, after my beloved Rapunzel gave birth -twice- to 6 adorable kittens that I looked after until I found them a nice home. Right now, I'm taking care of my own lil angel called Cilantro, I like to call him a second hand cat since I adopted him from a friend. I feel really attuned with cats and understand their needs and behaviours.

“Mit der lieben Sasha hat alles sehr super geklappt. Unsere beiden Katzis sind sehr schüchtern. Die liebe Sasha hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen und war sehr einfühlsam. Felix und Mia haben bereits am zweiten Tag mit Sasha gespielt und sich mit ihr unterhalten. Es gab jeden Tag Videos und Fotos. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat, ist ihre Umsicht und Ordenlichkeit. Bei der Hitze hat sie unseren Katzis noch zusätzlich Schalen für Wasser hingestellt und sogar den Katzenmüll hat sie aus dem Haus getragen. “Outstanding care for my beloved doggie Noodle! Yen made sure to send updates with pictures and videos during daycare and boarding, made sure Noodle gets exercise, lots of attention and fun time. Yen lives in a house with lovely garden and Noodle had a great time with their own dogs. Even when there was some friction Yen was always in touch and everything got resolved fast. I recommend Yen for everyone who wants to make sure their pet is in good hands while they are away. Will come back with my Noodle 100%!”

Ich bin ein absoluter Katzenliebhaber und stolze Katzenmama von zwei wundervollen, unzertrennlichen Europäisch Kurzhaar-Katzen: Kiki (1 Jahr alt, super verschmust und liebt die Katzenangel) und Sisi (etwas älter, am Anfang schüchtern, aber dann sehr anhänglich, liebt Laserpointer). Da ich täglich mit meinen eigenen Fellnasen zusammenlebe, verstehe ich die unterschiedlichen Charaktere von Katzen sehr gut – egal ob sie super mutig und verspielt wie Kiki oder anfangs etwas zurückhaltend wie Sisi sind. Deine Katze wird bei mir wie ein Teil der Familie behandelt, bekommt jede Menge Streicheleinheiten, Beschäftigung und natürlich eine zuverlässige Rundumbetreuung. Ich freue mich darauf, deine Samtpfote kennenzulernen! Da ich sehr flexibel bin und oft von zu Hause aus arbeite, verbringe ich den größten Teil des Tages mit meinen Katzen. Das bedeutet, dass ich jede Menge Zeit habe, um mich intensiv um deine Samtpfote zu kümmern. Fütterungszeiten, Spieleinheiten mit der Katzenangel und ausgiebige Kuschelzeiten lassen sich perfekt in meinen Alltag integrieren. Deine Katze wird hier niemals zu kurz kommen und erhält die Aufmerksamkeit, die sie verdient. Sicherheit steht bei mir an erster Stelle. Mein Zuhause ist absolut katzengerecht und sicher eingerichtet. Da ich selbst zwei liebevolle Katzen, Kiki und Sisi, habe, gibt es hier reichlich Kratzbäume, gemütliche Schlafplätze und katzensichere Fenster. Ich achte sehr darauf, dass sich Neuzugänge in Ruhe eingewöhnen können, ohne gestresst zu werden. Zudem halte ich die Besitzer regelmäßig mit süßen Fotos und Updates auf dem Laufenden, damit sie sich absolut keine Sorgen machen müssen.

“Déborah jumped in on short notice and agreed to take care of Panda despite my description of a dog with some issues and us not being able to meet beforehand. We had a nice phone call, in which she asked about Panda, answered all questions and gave some general information. When I dropped him off, he had some reservations about the situation but Déborah was patient and understanding with him from the first moment and took away my worries. Especially the first day she updated me frequently on how they are doing and also sent some pictures. I was over the moon to hear that Panda warmed up to her quickly and that they had a good time together. She took him on long walks, which was perfect for his energy level. Über: Seit ich denken kann, habe ich meiner Oma beim Hundesitten tatkräftig unterstützt. Durch meinen Ex habe ich bereits Erfahrungen mit größeren Hunden gemacht und liebe es mit ihnen spazieren zu gehen. Ich habe sowohl Erfahrungen mit kleineren als auch mit größeren Hunden. Bei meiner Oma habe ich einen älteren Hund gepflegt, kenne mich aber auch mit jüngeren Hunden aus. Ich selbst besitze auch zwei Katzen und bin mit diesen auch groß geworden, weswegen mir die Katzenbetreuung einfach von der Hand geht. Sowohl hier, als auch bei Hunden, habe ich Erfahrungen mit Medikamenten verabreichen. Neben der Uni arbeite ich in Berlin und kann deshalb unter der Woche viel in Berlin sitten. Gerade in den Semesterferien habe ich viel Zeit, um mich um andere Tiere zu kümmern. Leider kann ich deinen Hund oder Katze nicht bei mir zu Hause betreuen, aber in deiner Wohnung kann ich das ganz gut :) je nachdem wie oft ihr normalerweise am Tag mit eurem Hund geht, kann ich das übernehmen.

Similar when it comes to play time or training, if specifics are mentioned I usually try to upkeep during the boarding. As I have had experience with both WAG and THS I understand that details are important and every animal is different. From the start it is important that communication and the expectations for sitter are established. I like to make sure to be prepared and read all the details the owner states in the profile before confirming.
Über: Hey! I’ve been hanging out with a big fluffy Labrador Retriever / Poodle mix (20kg) for the past three years. I’ve known him since he was a tiny pup, so trust me — I’ve been through it all: the chewing phase, the stubborn days, the zoomies, and all the “uh-oh” moments in between. I’ve looked after him anywhere from a single day up to a full month — so I can handle both quick check-ins and long-term stays with ease. Walks, playtime, trips to the dog park, belly rubs on command — you name it, we’ve done it together. More recently, I’ve also been spending time with a super sweet little Maltipoo puppy (under 1 year old, about 4 months with her so far). I’ve taken care of her, taken her on walks, and learned how different small pups can be — but just as lovable. Über: Schon seit meiner Kindheit bin ich von Tieren umgeben und habe dadurch viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit ihnen gesammelt. Angefangen hat alles mit Katzen, die ich versorgt, gefüttert und mit denen ich viel Zeit verbracht habe. Später kamen Hunde dazu, wodurch ich Erfahrungen mit ganz unterschiedlichen Rassen, Größen und Charakteren sammeln konnte. If you leave your dog in my care, you can trust that I’ll make sure he/she has everything that is needed while you’re away. And of course I’ll make sure that I give lots of cuddles and attention for you four legged friend. I worked at a dog hotel for a while, where my job was to look after many different dogs. This allowed me to gain a lot of experience – whether with puppies, older dogs or dogs with special needs. I will treat each individual dog so that they feel safe, relaxed and welcome. :) The flat where my boyfriend and I live has a large roof terrace, and in just about 10 min we can reach Rummelsburg Dog Park, where Rio and I often go. Rio is used to living with other dogs and gets on well with small, large, young and older dogs. He has even lived harmoniously with a blind dog for almost six months. He loves meeting new doggy friends and playing together. I take my dog out 3–4 times a day. We go for at least two long walks a day. However, I’m happy to adapt to the needs of the guest dog and go for shorter walks, just as your four-legged friend is used to. Our flat is spacious and has a lovely roof terrace where the dogs can relax too. There is a staircase in the flat, so it’s important to let us know if your dog has trouble with stairs. The steps are carpeted to prevent anyone from slipping, and there is also a lift in the building. Rummelsburger Bucht and a large dog park are just a few minutes away – perfect for lovely walks and playing together.
