“Lucy war absolut wunderbar mit unseren beiden älteren Katzen! Wir haben sie kurzfristig gebucht, nachdem unsere vorherige Katzensitterin abgesagt hatte, und sie war unglaublich freundlich, zuverlässig und bereit, sich so kurzfristig um unsere beiden pelzigen „Kinder“ zu kümmern. Leider war die Betreuung mit einigen unerwarteten Herausforderungen verbunden. Eine unserer Katzen leidet an chronischer IBD, die zu schweren und unvorhersehbaren Schüben führen kann. Lucy hat all das großartig gemeistert. Sie hat die zusätzliche Arbeit ohne zu zögern übernommen, uns nach mehreren kleinen „Unfällen“ der Katze sogar beim Saubermachen geholfen, die Medikamente genau nach unseren Anweisungen verabreicht und unserer Katze zusätzlich ganz viel Liebe und Kuscheleinheiten geschenkt. Ich kann gar nicht genug ausdrücken, wie dankbar ich für die liebevolle Betreuung bin. Dank Lucys Aufmerksamkeit wurden die Medikamente rechtzeitig gegeben und der Zustand unserer Katze hat sich nicht weiter verschlechtert. Normalerweise muss sie zum Tierarzt, wenn ein Schub nicht rechtzeitig behandelt wird – glücklicherweise war das dieses Mal nicht nötig. 🙏🏻❤️ Als wunderbaren Bonus hat Lucy uns regelmäßig über das Befinden beider Katzen auf dem Laufenden gehalten und sogar unsere Blumen gegossen, während wir weg waren. Ich kann Lucy als Katzensitterin von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Ihr könnt euch darauf verlassen, dass eure Haustiere – und auch euer Zuhause – während eurer Abwesenheit in besten Händen sind. Wir kamen nach Hause und fanden zwei glückliche Katzen, ein sauberes Zuhause und überhaupt kein Chaos vor. Vielen Dank, liebe Lucy! ❤️”

In order to care properly for the dog, I need the following information: - How many times and what times do they need to go out? - What do they need to be fed and how many times? - Do they have any allergies? - How much exercise do they need? - Snacks/Dental Sticks? - Any requirements for Doctor visits? (My nearest Tierarzt is 4 mins away) Based on this, I will plan their stay and ensure that they have everything they need. In case of dog walks - of course I will walk them as long as needed.

Über: Ich bin mit Hunden und Katzen aufgeachsen und freue mich immer Zeit mit Fellnasen zu verbringen. Selbst im Urlaub dreh ich Morgens meine Laufrunde und füttere erstmal die obdachlosen Tiere. Meine Oma hat Hunde aus einem rumänischen Tierheim. Mit Geduld und Zuwendung sind wir nun ein Herz und eine Seele und konnten ihnen zeigen, das Menschen auch toll sind. Beim gassi gehen lasse ich sie gern schnuppern so lange sie wollen und ab und zu wird auch ein Sprint eingelegt. Ich bin zur Zeit zeitlich flexibel und kann mich euren Bedürfnissen anpassen. Auch an Wochenenden und Feiertagen ist dies möglich. Was ein fester Bestandteil meines Alltags ist, sind 2 std. Sport am Tag. Ich habe ein gemütliches Zuhause, jedoch keine Katzengitter an den Fenstern oder Balkon. Eine Betreuung ist auch in dem Zuhause des Tieres möglich. Ich habe ein Auto und versorge dein Tier gern in seinem gewohnten Umfeld. Über die Möglichkeit in meinem Zuhause können wir uns gern abstimmen.

Für die meiste Zeit meiner Kindheit hatten wir sowohl Katzen als auch Hunde in meinem Elternhaus - meist gleichzeitig und häufig mehr als eine jeder Art - und natürlich hatten sie alle ihre eigenen besonderen Persönlichkeiten! :-) Aktuell haben wir keine eigenen Haustiere, weil wir zuletzt sehr viel selbst unterwegs waren. Daher freue ich mich besonders, wenn ich meine freie Zeit mit anderer Menschen liebe Katzen verbringen darf! :-) Ich kann mich sehr gut auf unterschiedliche Katzen-Persönlichkeiten einlassen und gehe flexibel auf ihre Bedürfnisse ein. Im Sommer 2025 durfte ich zuletzt vier Wochen auf den Kater meiner besten Freundin aufpassen, die auf Reisen war. Dafür habe ich die komplette Zeit in ihrer Wohnung gelebt. Ihr Kater brauchte ein paar Tage, um sich an mich zu gewöhnen - in der Zeit hat er sich oft zurückgezogen und wollte für sich sein. Das hat sich jedoch sehr schnell geändert, so dass er zum Ende hin immer meine Nähe gesucht hat und wir viel gekuschelt haben. Ich bin selbstständig tätig und meine Tätigkeit findet online statt, daher bin ich sehr flexibel in der Haustier-Betreuung und Beschäftigung mit den Tieren. Ich bringe meinen Laptop zur Betreuung mit und kann zwischendurch immer wieder mit den Tieren spielen, rausgehen und/oder sie zu vereinbarten Zeiten füttern, beschäftigen oder Medikamente geben. Wir wohnen im 2. Obergeschoss eines 3-Familien-Hauses mit separatem Zugang zu einem vollständig umzäunten Garten, wo dein Hund sich frei bewegen kann. Im Haus sind alle sehr Tierlieb. In der unteren Wohnung lebt ein weiterer Hund, der seinen eigenen, abgetrennten Gartenbereich hat und sich dort frei bewegt.
Über: Katzenbetreuung 🐱 Seit über einem Jahr sammle ich praktische Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Katzen. In dieser Zeit habe ich mich sowohl um ältere Katzen ab 10 Jahren als auch um junge, verspielte Katzen gekümmert. Dabei habe ich gelernt, dass jede Katze ihren eigenen Charakter und ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse hat. Mir ist es wichtig, auf jede Samtpfote geduldig, liebevoll und aufmerksam einzugehen. Hundebetreuung 🐶 Mit Hunden habe ich bisher noch keine professionelle Betreuungserfahrung gesammelt, aber Hunde begleiten mich schon seit meiner Kindheit. Wenn ich meine Oma besucht habe, habe ich mich immer gerne um ihren Hund gekümmert, bin mit ihm spazieren gegangen, habe mit ihm gespielt und viel Zeit mit ihm verbracht. Dadurch habe ich gelernt, wie wichtig Geduld, Aufmerksamkeit und liebevoller Umgang mit einem Hund sind. Über: Ich habe seit meine Kindheit immer Hunde gehabt, Akita, schfferhund, Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Beagle. Mal ab und Katze auch gehabt. In Deutschland helfenich manchmal meiner Freunde mit deren Tiere. Ich liebe Zeit mit Tiere zu verbringen. Momentan studiere ich und habe ich nur 2/3 Kurse die auch online sind, daher habe ich die Flexibilität mehr Zeit und Kapazität mich um Tiere zu kümmern Ich habe eine klein Zimmer Wohnung aber dafür könnte ich mehr Zeit mit dem Hund draußen verbringen. Ich bin auch offen bei Besetzter zu bleiben und betreuen. Katzen sind vll einfacher bei mir zu haben.
Über: I have taken care of more than 85 pets in Berlin, Hannover and Leipzig. I update the owner`s on a regular basis through photos and videos. I am available for petsitting in East Germany I am studying online so I am almost home most of the time especially during the weekend unless I have to bring groceries or attend meetings. I care for them only in the owner`s home so I ask in the beginning about all the house rules. Moreover, I never leave the balcony or the windows open when I am out. Same goes for outdoor cats. I make sure they get inside before I leave.
Über: I have always been passionate about animal welfare. Throughout my professional career, I have immersed myself in learning as much as I can in regards to Animal Welfare. While my focus has been in dog training, I’ve never been shy about adding to my skills. As such, I’ve apprenticed as a Groomer’s Assistant, completed Canine First Aid and Confirmation courses, and I have even spent time working in Veterinary Clinics. These experiences were fulfilling and allowed me to provide comprehensive information for my human students, therefore bridging the critical gap between training the dog and teaching the human. Most recently in my professional career, I was able to open my own successful dog-training business in the states, collaborating with the families of individuals with disabilities, as well as local Animal Welfare organizations and Rescues to provide critical training for both Service Dogs, and dogs living in pet homes. I focused on tailoring training methods to accommodate diverse needs and frequently developed innovative approaches, all while collaborating with various other Pet Professionals in my area. I'm fairly free in my availabilty, pending time hasn't already been booked by other clients. For drop-ins/walks I start my days at 10AM and, finish at 5PM. I don't take drop-ins/walks on Sundays, but I'm otherwise available the rest of the week. For dogs, I like to spend at least 30-40 minutes a day on decompression walks, just allowing dogs to sniff and enjoy the sensory input they crave. I do NOT do public dog parks or allow greetings for Clients with random animals, and I always carry compressed air-spray in the event an off-leash dog approaches. I'm happy to provide play and light grooming, such as routine brushing and nail trims if applicable and requested. I require at least one Meet & Greet with the owner present before commiting to any sitting requests, as it is imperative to me that the dog is comfortable with me and confident with me entering the home without their owner. For cats, I prefer to let them greet me at their speed while ensuring they have all necessary resources and a clean litterbox. I'm very happy to spend the day with a book and cozy cat at my shoulder or on my lap, but it won't hurt my feelings if the cat is shy and prefers to avoid me. Either way, I'll keep their water filled and their box clean.

Deshalb bin ich viele verschiedene Charaktere gewohnt und freue mich eigentlich über jeden Vierbeiner. Unsere Tage sind fest geplant. Wir gehen morgens, mittags und abends jeweils mindestens eine Stunde raus, unsere beiden Hundemädels sind uch dabei. Wenn es passt, gehen wir auch länger oder planen einen kleinen Ausflug. Dazwischen wird gespielt, getobt und natürlich auch viel entspannt und gekuschelt. Wir wohnen zwar in der Stadt, haben aber viele Grünflächen direkt in der Umgebung und nutzen die auch ausgiebig. Wenn es für dich passt und dein Hund zuverlässig abrufbar ist, darf er gerne im Freilauf toben. Wir kennen außerdem einige nette Hundekumpels, mit denen wir uns auf Wunsch treffen können. Zuhause dürfen die Hunde es sich überall gemütlich machen, es gibt mehrere Körbchen, Kuschelecken, Spielzeug und ja, bei uns dürfen Hunde auch aufs Sofa und ins Bett.
