Über: Schon seit meiner Kindheit bin ich von Tieren umgeben und habe dadurch viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit ihnen gesammelt. Angefangen hat alles mit Katzen, die ich versorgt, gefüttert und mit denen ich viel Zeit verbracht habe. Später kamen Hunde dazu, wodurch ich Erfahrungen mit ganz unterschiedlichen Rassen, Größen und Charakteren sammeln konnte. Ich habe sowohl mit kleinen Hunden als auch mit größeren Rassen wie Schäferhunden zu tun gehabt und weiß, dass jedes Tier seine eigenen Bedürfnisse und seine eigene Persönlichkeit hat. Durch die Betreuung der Haustiere von Familienmitgliedern, Freunden und Nachbarn habe ich gelernt, verantwortungsvoll und aufmerksam mit Tieren umzugehen. Dazu gehören Spaziergänge, Fütterung, Beschäftigung, Fellpflege sowie das Erkennen von Bedürfnissen und Verhaltensweisen. Tiere liegen mir sehr am Herzen, und mir ist wichtig, dass sie sich sicher, wohl und gut aufgehoben fühlen. Ich begegne jedem Tier mit Geduld, Respekt und viel Zuneigung. Egal ob verspielt, zurückhaltend oder energiegeladen – ich nehme mir die Zeit, auf jedes Tier individuell einzugehen und ihm die Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken, die es verdient. Hunde können je nach Absprache bei mir zu Hause betreut werden und erhalten ausreichend Bewegung, Beschäftigung und Aufmerksamkeit. Katzen betreue ich ausschließlich in ihrem gewohnten Zuhause, damit sie in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung bleiben können. Ich halte mich zuverlässig an Fütterungszeiten, Pflegehinweise und individuelle Bedürfnisse. I was getting photos and videos over the time of the stay but even without them I felt Odi was in good hands. Even when the time to part ways has come, My dog usually is just like "Ok, let's go home, I don't need to say goodbye to the people I stayed with the last time", this time, he actually took his time to say his goodbyes which showed me he really felt at home with her. When it comes to walks and feeding I understand the importance of routine and try my best to follow the same schedule set in the pets home so they feel more comfortable. As I have had experience with both WAG and THS I understand that details are important and every animal is different. “Déborah jumped in on short notice and agreed to take care of Panda despite my description of a dog with some issues and us not being able to meet beforehand. We had a nice phone call, in which she asked about Panda, answered all questions and gave some general information. When I dropped him off, he had some reservations about the situation but Déborah was patient and understanding with him from the first moment and took away my worries. Especially the first day she updated me frequently on how they are doing and also sent some pictures. Der tägliche Umgang mit Hunden ganz unterschiedlicher Größe und Temperamente war für mich von klein auf selbstverständlich: Spaziergänge bei jedem Wetter, Fütterung, Pflege und das richtige Gespür dafür, was ein Tier gerade braucht. Nach meinem Umzug in die Großstadt Berlin habe ich regelmäßig die Hunde von Freund:innen betreut – vom temperamentvollen Jack Russell Terrier über den verspielten Beagle bis zum kleinen Bolonka Zwetna. So kenne ich nicht nur das Leben mit eigenen Tieren, sondern auch die Eigenheiten fremder Hunde, die sich erst an eine neue Bezugsperson gewöhnen müssen. Genau hier liegt für mich der Kern guter Betreuung: Vertrauen aufbauen, Routinen einhalten und aufmerksam sein. Jeder Hund hat seinen eigenen Rhythmus – Futterzeiten, Gassi-Gewohnheiten, Lieblingsplätze. Ich nehme mir die Zeit, diese kennenzulernen, halte mich an deine Absprachen und gebe dir unterwegs gerne ein kurzes Update mit Foto, damit du beruhigt sein kannst. Auch beim Haussitting weiß ich, worauf es ankommt: Ich gehe sorgsam mit deinem Zuhause um, halte alles ordentlich, kümmere mich zuverlässig um Post, Pflanzen oder kleine Aufgaben und hinterlasse die Wohnung so, wie du sie verlassen hast. Ein bewohntes, gepflegtes Zuhause gibt nicht nur deinem Tier Sicherheit, sondern auch dir. Ob junger Wirbelwind, der noch viel lernt, oder ein älteres Tier, das etwas mehr Ruhe und Geduld braucht – ich passe mich den Bedürfnissen deines Lieblings an und behandle ihn so, wie ich meine eigenen Tiere behandeln würde. Meine Zeit lässt sich flexibel einteilen, sodass ich die Betreuung gut an die Bedürfnisse deines Tieres anpassen kann. Am liebsten stimme ich den genauen Ablauf vorab persönlich mit dir ab so wissen wir beide, was dein Liebling braucht: feste Futterzeiten, gewohnte Gassi-Runden, Ruhephasen oder besondere Routinen. Ob stundenweise Betreuung, längere Spaziergänge oder eine durchgehende Versorgung über mehrere Tage, wir finden gemeinsam eine Lösung, die zu deinem Alltag und dem deines Tieres passt. Mir ist wichtig, dass dein Vierbeiner verlässliche Zeiten und genug Aufmerksamkeit bekommt, statt zwischen Tür und Angel betreut zu werden. Nur im Zuhause des Besitzers: Ich halte mich an die gewohnte Umgebung deines Tieres und an deine Absprachen von den Futterplätzen über die Gassi-Routen bis zu den Lieblingsplätzen. Gerade ängstlichere oder ältere Tiere profitieren davon, in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung bleiben zu können. Ich gehe achtsam mit deinem Zuhause um, halte alles ordentlich und behalte Türen, Fenster und mögliche Gefahrenquellen im Blick.

Bei meiner Oma habe ich einen älteren Hund gepflegt, kenne mich aber auch mit jüngeren Hunden aus. Ich selbst besitze auch zwei Katzen und bin mit diesen auch groß geworden, weswegen mir die Katzenbetreuung einfach von der Hand geht. Sowohl hier, als auch bei Hunden, habe ich Erfahrungen mit Medikamenten verabreichen. Neben der Uni arbeite ich in Berlin und kann deshalb unter der Woche viel in Berlin sitten. Gerade in den Semesterferien habe ich viel Zeit, um mich um andere Tiere zu kümmern. Leider kann ich deinen Hund oder Katze nicht bei mir zu Hause betreuen, aber in deiner Wohnung kann ich das ganz gut :) je nachdem wie oft ihr normalerweise am Tag mit eurem Hund geht, kann ich das übernehmen.

I will treat each individual dog so that they feel safe, relaxed and welcome. :) The flat where my boyfriend and I live has a large roof terrace, and in just about 10 min we can reach Rummelsburg Dog Park, where Rio and I often go. Rio is used to living with other dogs and gets on well with small, large, young and older dogs. He has even lived harmoniously with a blind dog for almost six months. He loves meeting new doggy friends and playing together. I take my dog out 3–4 times a day. We go for at least two long walks a day. However, I’m happy to adapt to the needs of the guest dog and go for shorter walks, just as your four-legged friend is used to. Our flat is spacious and has a lovely roof terrace where the dogs can relax too. There is a staircase in the flat, so it’s important to let us know if your dog has trouble with stairs. The steps are carpeted to prevent anyone from slipping, and there is also a lift in the building. Rummelsburger Bucht and a large dog park are just a few minutes away – perfect for lovely walks and playing together.
